Alliance Comics returns with a new monthly series titled, “AC Throwdown.” Coming off the heels of a successful Free Comic Book Day tournament, Alliance Comics is back at it. On the first Saturday of each month, a tournament will be held in the basement of Alliance Comics in Silver Spring, MD.

if its not going to the placers, then it must be going towards the benefit of the tournament runner, venue, or tournament/event to provide a better tomorrow for the tournament of… tomorrow
yeah thats why there is a venue fee. there is no point in charging a venue fee and taking from the pot. its just bad business.

Well, to be honest, it will go to getting better stuff. As i stands now, im putting up my stuff. My plan is to get permanent setups for the store. I know it sucks now, and i hope you still come out, but i’m sure you can understand my logic. The venue fee is just that. Alliance Comics is like family to me, and once you see what we have cooking, i’m sure the 7 dollars won’t feel like your being raped. I’m tired of being raped myself. But, if you have suggestions, i’m always willing to explore and reconstruct my own ideas. Thanks a lot for the feed back. Keep it comin. Peace.

a local NY tournament held in a public school has a $10 venue $10 entry for singles and $5 per head for teams and if anybody thinks $7 is rape lolol I welcome $7 alllllll day

Downtown SS. Right near the train station. And they have street parking if your driving.
