What about the frame advantage on light danku now that the hitbox is lower? Does it hit earlier and ruin our shit?
Does cl. HK > cr. MP > HP Koryuken connect with everybody now? aka Ryu/Ken/E. Ryu/Sagat etc. would cause him to whiff HP Koryuken during the combos.
We also need to petition for switching cl. HK command with far HK command.

He hasnt gotten any notable changes since the last build. Standing taunt builds some meter. We shouldnt expect any either because Dan’s a joke character.
Also the knee crossups I discovered no longer exist due to knees hitbox changes.

If your opponent in Ultra has a brain, theyll counterpick you with Elena. Knee cannot hit crouching Elena, HK Danku last hit whiffs so its incredibly unsafe. Mk danku is still -2
Edit: I told Combofiend about the Elena issue and he expressed concern, so theres a possibility it can be fixed.
If that is the case with low danku, tell them to revert back the change then.
In all honesty, now that you brought up Elena, it isn’t technically Dan’s fault. The problem is that some characters have such super wonky hurtboxes that you just don’t know what to do.
If anything ask them to switch the danku “buff” with the Gadouken hurtbox buff (take the WHOLE arm hurtbox off).
In the mean time, ask them if they could possibly help to slightly expand upward some of the shotos/chunli/smaller characters’ crouching hurtboxes.
From reading the thread these changes def make Dan more viable.
- Reduce hurtbox in gadoken (whole arm) - like all other shotos
- Reduce dash (distance & frames) - Improve getting in game esp against heavy fireball keep away characters
- Reduce recovery for air danku - Improve getting in game
- Increase hitbox for crMK to actual toes - improve mid game poking
- Remove st cl LP - Improves combo potential
- Force standing for close ST HK (ae 2012) on hit - to make combos more universal, rather than character specific
- Swap 4+HK command with HK
I think the only person that can push for changes is Ixion and Ultra David
