This will be a regular tournament. Freaky Friday is every other Friday, but because of XBL being stupid and not having pool play this week, I decided to throw a large open tournament for everyone who wants to join.
P.S. You all can argue about who real programmers use for characters… all I’ve learned is… there are way WAY too many damn programmers who play this game :lol:

Alright, I am SO excited about tonight’s tournament. This will be the WWL’s first tournament with more than 8 people so its going to be very exciting! I’m including a link to tonight’s tournament bracket so everyone can follow along. Seeding for this tournament was done on league point standings… SO, if you’ve never participated in league play, them’s the breaks ;). If two people were tied on points (a la zero) names were randomly drawn to see who would be the higher seed. The top player must invite the bottom player and I want the winner of each match to send me a message (Silver Rain 007) to let me know the results and who was played for our records. If possible, I’d like to record the top 8, this will slow down the tournament a little but I think our top 8 matches are going to be really good. Notice that in the bracket I have place matches for people who get far enough, so those that advance far enough will lose twice and play one more game to see who finishes higher. The bracket fills itself out so watch the results and you’ll know who you play next.

I started playing street fighter in 91, there was a corner store that had it by my elementary school that I’d go to early in the morning to get some games in. I think i was about 7 at the time, eventually we got banned from coming there because they were getting complaints from our school that we were coming to school late. So I’ve played every incarnation of street fighter over the years, and with arcades closing I never got into SFIII or had the chance to get some solid games with anyone in alpha 3. I’ve always mained Ken but there was a skill gap I couldn’t surpass so I switched to Ryu in april I think and I’ve been having better luck with that character. As for my skill level I’ve gotten rounds off of afro legends, dgv, haru tjyo however its spelt and sirlin prime. I get close but I’ve never beaten any of them before. So I think I’m a decent competitive match for anyone, but not quite tournament level yet.
