My manager asked me to work till 8pm PST today. So I can be home by 8:40 to play my matches, but that’s the earliest I can get in.
If you’re back by 8:40 you’ll show up on the WWL HDR Friends list and people should know to try to get their matches in with you. We’re flexible, we schedule for people’s benefits.
On a side note, I’d like to say that since the announcement of WWL HDR EUROPE, we’ve already had 19 players sign up with the WWL HDR friends list! At this point, I’m thinking what I’ll have to do is create another new dummy account for our EU friends. So let’s keep those signups coming! (To put this in perspective, PST, only has had a total of 13 people sign up, 4 of which have dropped indefinitely…where’s the love from the West Coast???)

Bio:
Contrary to popular belief, my GT is not based on a love of McDonalds. In fact I am staunchly anti-McDonalds and havent eaten fast food period since 2005. My name is a pun of my last name as it begins with Arch- The last Street Fighter II game I played before HDR was World Warrior for the SNES. I was originally a Chun-Li main but switched to Ken when my sister (who also plays online) started picking her. I bought HDR as an impulse buy for nostalgic reasons and here I am.
Highlights:
Absolutely NONE. Coming straight from World Warrior (and not having played that game for probably a decade), I havent been in any tournaments to speak of. Although at one point I was ranked in the top 150 until I started learning stick. My first day of playing online without a pad, I lost to two scrubs and went from 144 to 996 (top thousand!).
Thanks for clearing that up. I assumed you love McDonalds because of your name and the color you usually choose for Ken.
Oh, oh, I’m so writing my bio (not in the tournament though lol).
Main: Cammy
Bio: I originally started playing SF II on SNES in '94, my first owned game ever, though that just included playing the CPU with 1 star difficulty lol. I also played a bit of 3rd Strike online back on Xbox, but at the time I didn’t learn parrying or anything else. I’ve generally been a SF enthusiast but not one who was willing to invest time in combos and crap. Its been like that up until 2008, when I got HDR and started playing competitively for the first time. I initially wanted to main Ken, just because he reminds me a bit of myself attitude-wise. However, I stunk with Ken too much. One day I randomly chose Cammy based on my liking of her stage music, and I owned. The climax was me double-perfecting an Akuma in a player room, with the users in the background going crazy. She’s stuck ever since. I also like the fact that she’s not as popular, and I feel her guns-blazing style of play suits me well. I also think she has the most style and “swag” out of any SF character, so I’ve been playing her while living with the underdog status.
My gamertag origin? I couldn’t think of anything, the name “Norieaga” just sounded really cool. I based it off of Manuel Noriega, a former dictator of Panama (I don’t look up to him or anything).
Coolest Career Moment: One day I entered a player room to find ANOTHER Norieaga, though he had numbers in his name. Anyway, we started our match only to find that we were BOTH Cammy mains. At the beginning of the match I remember his friends yelling, “Yo, this guy is you, he’s the real Nore.” Anyway, I ended up owning the match and his friends went into hysteria.
Fun times.
