What is the panel’s opinion of good weight benches? Ive been shopping around looking but since im starting over again what would be my best option. Should I go cheap or go for a more standard pricer one? Im considering the cheaper small ones since i live in a townhouse without a basment so there is not enough room in my place it other than my bedroom.

so true. i look like shit right now. i always end up putting my routine on pause when finals come around, and its so hard to get back into it. im going back on my regiment Monday though.

2 a day workouts
2 a day cardio

Tuna rice, eggs in the diet
whey protein shakes twice a day
9 hrs of sleep

i do this for 2 weeks before school and ill prob lose 5 lbs. im thinking about doing a hydroxycut hardcore cycle but im not sure if i can keep the weight off. i have a low metabolism so i need to be exercising all the time, a lot, to look decent. It takes a lot of work it seems for me to have my body in presentable shape. 3+ months of hard dieting and work to get my weight down and what not. Yet i can lose it all in 2 weeks. fuck thi shit im going play basketball. leaves

I wouldn’t waste my money on a cheapie bench, spend what…100…then in a year or so have to upgrade. May as well spend the extra now. If you need something to hold you over, pick up a used one on craigslist.

I didn’t watch that vid, but I can’t take NO boosters. It sucks because for the first 30 minutes after taking them I have so much energy its ridiculous, but I get real dizzy after just one set so I just don’t take them. I’ve tried White Flood and SuperPump250 and both had the same effect on me.

Took a week off (more like 5 days) due to classes for my job, but I was back at the gym today. Gonna start my supplements next week. Gonna start with Blue Up (test booster), SizeOn, Animal Pak, Fish Oil, Flaxseed Oil, and a shitload of protein. Once thats all done with, gonna hit up a can or two of M-Stak, GreenMAG (if I’m done with SizeOn), and Purple Wraath. Also, have a can of Animal Nitro I’m gonna try.

why is that less and less ppl seem to be taking protein bars? whenever i ask someone at the gym if they eat protein bars, they say “no no noo” as if it were the same as taking roids? the ppl that usually say this tend to be really really skinny

I would say that typically Protein bars have a good amount of sugar in them. Plus I just prefer a shake.

I started adding HIIT to my workouts, plus playing tennis (which I used to do back in the day).

Saturday I did HIIT, then shoulders and triceps, then played some tennis about 2 hours later. GOD DAMN, I could tell I was tighter the next day. I eat right with 5-7 meals a day and no garbage and goal right now is definition.

For anyone here who has a tight body or showing abs, how long did it take you to get rid of the last bit of fat around your waist? That’s what I’ve been going for now. Slow process, but getting tighter and tighter.

Tried just taking straight arginine? The products you have been taking tend to be full of stims for workout energy, and that is probably what is bothering you. Pick up some bulk arginine and try it with your pre and post workout drinks.

also, saw you use animal products, they are great. More people need to pick up “animal flex” for joint support. It isn’t really something you think about until your joints start to wear on you as you get older. Solid product, and has helped me a lot. Wish I had started with it in my 20’s.

Some don’t like they because they are full of glycerine. Some because they are full of artificial ingredients. I use them in a pinch, but bind the hell out of me…so I try not to. Better to keep a few rtd drinks around (muscle milk light, etc).

I haven’t tried straight arginine. I’ve taken products with arginine in them but not by itself.

I was thinking the other day. Some of my friends are doing that Nike thing, where you buy this like chip or something and put it in your shoe and it records how much you run, and its posted on some Nike site and you can have teams that faceoff against each other for who can run the most miles in X amount of weeks.

So anyways, I was thinking we should have something kind of like that on SRK. Maybe we could have a contest or something, where those who are interested would post current pics of yourself and your physique (no homo), measure your weight and body fat percentage, then after like 6 months take pictures again and then we all vote for who we think is the most improved. We could all put like $5 in or something, or buy the winner Premium for a week/month/year, something like that.

Would anyone be interested? Or are you guys just like, “get a life.”?

I think it would motivate people to stick with there workouts and train even harder. Could be fun.
