ive got an agility test coming up for work. its in the morning at 8, and ive got to get up at 6 to drive there. it involves a timed 2 mile run, stairs running and some lifting events. im in pretty good shape, but i would like some advice on what i should eat/do the day before and eat/do the morning of to be peak for the test.
Only if I take too much of it per serving, which is expected⦠but itās a different feeling than taking milk protein⦠however, if I (personally) take about 30g 3 times a day, it goes down easy and it doesnāt ruin my stomach⦠Iāve been hitting the gym with a different routine lately, but Iām seeing better results than I did in the past. I canāt tell if thatās because of the powder or not. I just know that Iām actually digesting it, unlike all the million whey or casein products Iāve bought over the years.
Yo I havenāt been drinking soda or sugar densed drinks for about 2 weeks. I lost about 8-10 pounds. Is this healthy for me to lose that much weight that fast. I use to weigh between 205-210, now iām 195-198. I also changed my diet to eating healthier but it still doesnāt make sense to me
4 lbs a week, i wouldnt say that is abnormalā¦it depends on what your diet was like beforeā¦if it was pretty bad and all of the sudden you start eating health and not drinking soda etc. it would make a huge differentā¦

Well if you eat 6-8 times a day with no fiber, it wonāt be pretty. Now that I get adequate fiber for all the meals Iām taking in, Iām fine. I shit at least 4 times a day though.

Just gotta say that ZMA is the shiznit. I plateaued but that shit gave me a kick in the arse and Iām lifting heavier, and have grown just a bit.

i currently just filled up my first notepads worth of workouts, and am wondering if i should use some kind of software to log it.
edit: im leaning towards just using an excel spreadsheet or just writing my own application lol
Thatās the exercise. I do them with my head up and my back tight though.
You donāt need a machine for this exercise though, just a barbell and some olympic weights.
Actually, if you use Excel, itās probably better for you. I mean, you canāt really predict what you should lifting or where you should be. But at the very least, you can graph your progress. (In fact, Iām using it right now!)

i do them like magnus described back tight at like a 45 degree angle to the floor, head up, and i dont let the bar go all the way to the floor, just as low as my arms allow me from that positionā¦

I might be late on this but the ab-roller freaken works.
Iāve been using it for the last 2 months. My workout routine:
Every 1~2 days: 8 minutues forward and backwards. 2 minutes left to right.
Every 1~2 days: 100 situps, 100 crunches (legs up), 100 reverse crunches (legs to elbows), 100 side crunches (left to right).
Diet is everyday college diet, consisting of fast food.
iām starting to develop an 8 pack now. i just need to slim down/ eat healthier.
Any tips on slimming? Im not sure which route to go, either carb-less or fat-less.
eat a balanced diet. Complex Carbs before activity. Start cutting sugars to a minimum. Get Healthy fats. Avoid unneccessary saturated animal fats. Get tons of protein.
All that ab work is useless without a good diet. Does ur college have a rec center/weight room? If so, hit that up 3-4 times a week. Start doing cardio.

i say just eat like normal, you really dont want to try anything out of the box and have an ill stomach before the test. eat lite and get rest.
Not sure how your college food is, but for me I have some healthy choices to go for. Breakfast I can do Cheerios with milk. Lunch can be grilled chicken breast, some lettuce, tomato, whole wheat bread if I make a sandwich. Dinner I can make a salad.
Iām not trying to slim so there are usually 2-3 other meals on top of that I have in a day. If you have money to spend, Iām sure there are nearby places that offer some great tasting meals and arenāt total crap to your body. Liquor also hammers down on your gains so donāt mess with it.
Hey Iāve gain weight and Iām starting to get this gut, but the thing is I havenāt touched anything unhealthy in a month. The only thing I can think of thatās causing this is my high protein intake. Should I reduce it? I have a solid four pack going onto a six Iām afraid it will disappear with this thickness.
