I think the healthiest way is actually to hard boil them, peal off and eat the white and toss the yolk. Of course thatās wasteful and gets rather old fast. Back when I was trying to eat eggs regularly, I usually boiled 5 of them, ate 2 whole and tossed 3 yolks. Yolks are good for you, but do have some bad aspects to them as well. So eating just the whites or just a couple of yolks is great.
Is that even possible? Youād have to have some seriously beastly core strength to hold a guy up like that.

but when I read articles here and there⦠most of them were trying to debunk the alleged āmythā that eggs, specifically egg yolk, raises cholesterol. What I read is that in the studies where those results were found, they used either powedered eggs, or completely cooked the egg yolk. And they argued that it was due to the fact that the cholesterol gets oxidized when heated and exposed to air (and other very beneficial nutrients get destroyed). Also, they indicated that the eggs used were not of the type that had a 1:1 ratio of Omega 6:Omega 3. And they cited a plethora of beneficial elements. including decreasing cholesterol, fighting blood clots, increased memory efficiency etcā¦
Also something about the majority of cholesterol is made by the body as opposed to found in diet, and so if you dont take in cholesterol, your body will compensate by hiking your cholesterol up, whereas if you ingest some (non oxidized, it has some to do with the abilitiy of your blood to recognizing it as cholesterol) your body will halt its cholesterol productionā¦
I will read more into it just to make sure the infor scientific in nature,and not just the egg industry trying to provide info to increase their salesā¦

Is it a good idea to change my college major to athletic traning? Is it easy to get a job with that kind of degree? Does it pay well?
I went to the doctor today about my wrists. Long story short he said I should not lift weights for 2 weeks. So what can I do at the gym that doesnāt use my wrists? All I can think of is Squats, Calf raise, Abs, Flies(machine), Shoulder raise(machine) and running.
I drank Pedialyte during my weight workout the other day⦠and my veins were popping out of my skin and I wasnāt the least bit tired⦠then I felt a soreness the next day I havenāt felt in a long time⦠the kind that feels like youāre really working your muscles out. What is it about the composition in Pedialyte (Iām guessing all the sodium) that keeps you pumped during exercise, and is it a good idea to drink it every workout?
So I went to GNC yesterday and bought some supplements, but before I opened anything, I thought Iād ask about them first.

- Vitamins - Ultra Mega Gold Multivitamins from GNC
- Fish Oil Capsules - Fish Body Oils 1000 from GNC
Now Iām suppose to take the vitamins one in the morning, one at night, somewhat same for the fish caps, twice daily. Is that enough? I was reading The Metabolism Advantage and IIRC he recommends 2 fish caps with each shake, about 6 a day.
The amino acids says take 4 tablets with each meal, seriously? I eat 4-6 times a day and thereās only 150 tablets so Iād run out pretty quickly.
Protein shake in general question, we only digest 25g at a time and urinate the rest? If thatās the case, my shake would only need 1/2 a scoop plus 10oz. milk.
Iām just trying to get some feedback on all this before I start using anything. I wanted to see how much each influences my body by cycling one supplement at a time, but eh, I think that would take too long cause 3-4 supplements would be a while if each was a month.

where did you read 25g at a time? basically 2929398 diff people give diff amounts of protein that is digestable during a meal but nobody can provide any decent reasoning as to WHY or HOW they arrived at that number.
just make sure you are getting at least 1-1.5g of protein per pound of body weight each day

Finally able to powerclean and jerk 185 today, after cleaning (no pun intended) up my form. I was plateauing at around 170 for months. Did it quite easily too. Could have went for a double, but didnāt want to risk failing it and losing that high after you hit a PR :lovin: 225 c&j, here I come.
And Iām seriously jealous of people who can take massive amounts of protein without constipating and shitting out bricks. Iāve completely given up on protein because any amount of protein powder I take, ends up constipating me for weeks, and Iāll eventually have to push so hard Iāll literally shit out blood. Yeah, too much info.

Oh trust me guys, Iāve been lifting for years now, I know about all that shit. It simply does not help.
Iāve tried everything, every brand of protein, and itās all the same. I eat massive amount of veggies, eat 100% rolled oats at least twice a day, and I rarely eat junk food. And I know itās the protein shake because when Iām off of it, I shit fine. At least once a day, and sometimes twice when Iām on my clean diet and no protein shake. But as SOON as I take a scoop of protein, I can literally feel my stomach clump up and immediately feel the effect. Even if I take it once, and donāt take it again, Iāll still constipate for at least a good week before my system cleans it out. Itās like the protein powder just sits in my stomach.
I just simply feel a lot better when Iām not taking protein powder. My skin is a lot nicer, my stomach is really lean, and I just feel more refreshed and energized because my stomach isnāt harboring 5 pounds of rock hard solid shit.
