Okay, so I’m at the store today, and the guy’s like, “So…you’re here for the 360 one?”
I reply, “No. I’m here for the good one.”
And then he goes, “Oh, the GOOD one,” and grabs me my PS3 version.

ok i’m stuck at the part where i have to line up all 4 gyrobalde things. how do i get the one where that i used to destroy the coffin to where the other ones are?
You don’t use that one. There is one behind some gates in the large hall. You get that one by going into the dining room and using the gyroblade to block the fireballs. Push it all the way to the end and go through the door. You should come out behind the gates in the large hall. Open the gates by hitting the blue flame circle, put the blade on its circle and get ready for a boss battle.
Anyone get the PS3 collector’s edition? Are all of them signed by Hiroyuki Kobayashi in the back?
no, only about what, 100 of them are signed?
Late to the party—but finally arrived, I am installing the game right now!
I know i’m getting this as DMC3 was one of my all time favorite games but my friends told me it’s fun but not as good at 1 or 3 and the gameplay gets repetitive (i know reviews r to be taken with a grain of salt) GS gave it an 8.0 and xplay gave it 3/5 stars so any truth to this game not being anywhere near as good as the hype?
And should i get it for 360 or ps3? usually when a multiplatform game comes out i get it for 360 since it has a much larger online community.
Congrats!
The Golden Ticket!
Got it. Got the artbook too (shockingly).
Barely played yet because of fucking C#. :annoy:
where did you get the art book?
Game turned out better than I anticipated. Really, really pleased with the production level of it so far.
Came with my preorder at EB. Which is odd, because I never get preorder bonuses.
i preordered mines at GS, and i didn’t get anything extra
My art book came in the mail when I pre-ordered it when Gamestop was having that whole “pre-order DMC4 this weekend and get free overnight shipping” deal on their website. I didn’t realize it was even supposed to come with the art book until I checked the tracking number/order the other day.
Yuo’re not missing out on anything by not getting the art book. It’s pretty small, about two-thirds the size of a standard DVD case, and seems to be very cheaply made. While I haven’t beaten the game yet, I’m sure all the art work in the art book can be unlocked anyways.
DUDE. .IR is MUCH easier in the real game. The frames are even less strict!! OMG.
and it looks better than the demo
Got the Collector’s edition today for the PS3. Really digging it so far, even though the game has been way too easy where I’m at(Mission 7). I still can’t stand using the Nero, but I’ll get used to it I guess. Do the bosses ever pick up? The one’s I faced where all pretty much generic and easy as hell.
I didn’t have too many problems on Devil Hunter. Died just a few times, but pretty much breezed through the game. That WILL start to change on Son of Sparda though. It does get tougher.
This game is too fun. I’ve been replaying each mission twice so far in order to get a S rank. So far so good. Nero is very fun to use especially with the boss battles seeing as how you can get your stylish rank up easily doing special moves against the bosses.
I’m currently at Mission 8 right now…probably pick it back up after taking a break.
The online capable thing you can do is the rankings. That’s about it, really. There is no multi-player function for online. And don’t let the reviews fool you. They’re stupid. Some of them actually thought Ass Creed was good and they ended up lying.
EDIT: NVM. As soon as I ask the question I figure it out on me own.
FYI - people are already finding the hot spots to orb farm.
2500 Proud Souls - “S” rank Mission 1
4000 Red Souls - crush red statue in mission 7, restart mission, rinse repeat.
