We Need More Tekken 6 Players in Seattle

Is there a good Miguel player I should watch?

Yeah on the TekkenGosu youtube page, you should look for a Miguel player named the goonies. He’s the best Miguel player I’ve seen. Or you can look for the Tekken Crash videos where Rain played Miguel. I’ll probably have to link those actually.

also on www.iamtekken.com listen to the NYC(Fab) podcast because Miguel is that guy’s tournament character, he has some tips for Miggy.

Who am I looking for if I want to watch awesome Alisa shenanigans?

That was good shit. At first I was disappointed that I came within pixels of putting Brandon into losers, but after witnessing those final matches I no longer care!

SHIAOOOOOOOOO

Yeah thanks for turning OFF your wireless XBOX Hori stick John during the semis.

Hahahhaha!!!

Haha, I love Tekken Crash. Shit gets so HYPE. And of course, they’re really good players.

Hey heavyD how was the online with the few matches I played you. First room I created forgot others could join at random. Seemed fine on my end,but anyways GGs.

I think that pissed me off more than anyone else, really. I took steps to prevent that exact thing from happening and it turns out that pressing the sync button and popping a battery won’t desync a wireless device from a console? Fuck technology.

Yeah GGs, there was a bit of lag that affected my timing and made my combos goofy, but otherwise it was pretty smooth.

wow @ people who just wanna copy play styles of others. learn the moves, learn what moves are safe, learn what combos do the most damage, and start from there.

I like to watch videos more just to see what can be done, not so much to copy styles. I did the same thing with SF4, it just kind of works for me I guess.

Asking for good players is more to see what good players pull out in certain situations.

I don’t have a lot of opporunities to play in person with good players regularly so it’s the best way for me to see what works and what doesn’t when people know what they are doing.

if you have two people that are learning how to play tekken I don’t think that approach works, especially if they both have the mindset of “doing combos”

a lot of moves in tekken are situational and watching videos will definitely expose you to more situations than sitting at home playing online.

I support copying other people’s styles, especially if they are better than you.

decent video that shows kuma’s shortcomings and what you need to do to overcome them, more realistic than watching “hankuma” in tekken crash.

Thanks guys. Going to try and look at these later in the week. I want to learn King, but I don’t know if I have the patience to pick up a character like that. Miguel is just too sexy.

Is this for me?! Thanks!

I’m actually going to play Lili though, Panda is just mah name. @_@’ You are too kind though.
(She is an alt, at least)

not sure if you have the game but playing king requires you to hit “instant shining wizard” post-bound.

not quite that fast but other than the “you must master isw” requirement, I consider King to be pretty easy to play.

Negative - someone in Seattle plans on playing panda exclusively. Good luck catching up to Kenji.

I was getting bored in training room failing my combo like 50 times so I decided hey maybe I’ll look into an alt or something? So the first character I tried was Nina. I went back to Heihachi in like 10 minutes. Nina is cool but way too complicated for me man.
