I think last night’s session leveled me up enough to have won the closest gamestop tournament. Too bad I only got 2 hours of sleep and have been helping my uncle move tvs, desks, beds and book cases. To be honest though $100 for 6 hours work > a tap out shirt a corny tekken shirt and a trading card lol

SRKs in this game feel weird! letting go of the stick feels weird! I’m hitting spinning demon’s like 90% now though!!!
Finally got the game and digging it alot. Played some online matches and they were flawless. There was an update when i first put the game in so maybe they patched it.
Raven Is who I’m focusing on reminds of blade, and I played him alot in dark resurrection
They take some getting used to, but once yo get em down (and start doing EWGF’s) it’ll transfer over in sfiv. Being able to do a dp in 13-14 frames is a good thing yeah?
I think Heihachi and Kazuya basically confirmed that I’m not gonna be using a shoto or Sagat in SSFIV. Thanks a lot Namco.

Hahaha you cant SRK without the neutral now? I might be weak for saying this but I might still play Sagat in super 4. Not as main status but as backup #1.
Oh and I got my prayer beads now. Thats step two in the Akuma-hachi transformation.
Heihachi setup #2 is Pimp-Hachi.
Edit: Also I’ve decided every character I play will have Aviators on every costume.

ok what’s the deal with these 10 hit combos in the moves list?!?
I’ve been playing around with Heihachi’s #4 it’s
df+3 > 2 > 2 > 4 > 4 > 1 > 2 > 1 > 2 > 1
so I understand the df+3 > 2 > 2 part, but then he busts out two demon sweeps without the srk motion and the final 1 ends in a demon uppercut, but again without the movement inputs?!?
are these just like easy modo combos that would be disabled in any sort of competitive play? or so certain moves generate specials with just a button input?
They’re all like easily sidestepped for a free RAPE combo, or otherwise countered. They aren’t even actually combos. They’re just for stylin on scrubz or something. You could use the first couple hits as some kind of ghetto blockstring but I wouldn’t be surprised if all the hits were unsafe on block.
Yeah, I think he’s modeled after blade. He’s way cooler though. I kinda wanna learn him and Zafina even if they’re baby tier.
After watching BlackSteve play Armor King, I think I found my main. Probably gonna use King as a secondary.
seems like tiers are some what close from what I’ve been reading. I really like his throws especially his moon shot one. Got to stop trying to throw so much at random though, was winning online when I stopped random throw shenanigans: )

just remember that for every character you learn, anything you cannot do with that character is to your detriment.

- cancels - backdashing, lee combos, baek combos, hwoarang combos, lars combos, eddy/christie’s entire offense, marduk combos, steve combos

Man, i think Armor king is an underestimated character in my oppinion. You will see progress early with him, and its easy to learn some of his long range moves, so you can just hang back and whiff punish a person. if you hit some body with F+2,1 which knocks down and they stay on the ground, you can run up and do the easy ground grab, and thats easily almost half life on every character. Two moves, no combo = half life
some good Armor king videos for inspiration are on youtbe under tekken Gosu. then search for a player named Triple H from japan. he uses mostly king, but he plays A king alot too
