Do we really need to eliminate what little incentive the people have to play ST? Why don’t we just hold a Mikado, with a higher entry fee plus prizes and leave the actual tourney alone?
Better yet, why don’t we hold some ST MM grudge matches, in which the loser pays towards the Zach fund? I would do this with quickness.

Just had a small group take off from my place. We were making various forms of dim sum, and chillin’.
It’s relevant to this thread because a bottle of Bud Light that JTM left here from the weekend after Thanksgiving was finally consumed tonight. And to think that I used to split a fifth of everclear with one other person AFTER a night on the town. I’m old.

OK for the next Mikado style tourney we do we are running it the REAL Mikado and current SBO format. I will explain it when I am at Zach’s next week, those of you who know this format should recognize that this is a great format for teams tourneys. And, yes it is different from what we were doing!
