Personally, when I was learning ST, I picked two characters. I had my main, and my “backup” for those matches that were just really really hard. But like others above have said, it’s better to intimately know a matchup than be a “jack of all trades” player.
But I don’t think it’s a bad idea to go for two characters, since that’s in line with tournament setups. You play your main to start, and if you have a really bad matchup you have another option.
Is there an existing scene in Seattle anymore? I’ve been out of the loop for so long, I am not even sure anymore.
My main is Cammy, and Vega’s my backup. I need to play more, though :wasted:
