I was wondering the same thing. If there’s a character to complain about, it’s Claw.
Claw is to ST as Chun-Li is to 3s
LOL yall are trippen! if the characters are played at the best here is where i rank them:
Dhalsim>O.Sagat>Balrog>Chun Li>Ryu>Vega
Claw is very beatable by any of the characters i named ahead of him! There is a reason why Claw has never won anything. No Priority over the characters i mentioned.
The only problem with Dhalsim, since he’s being hyped so much, is that Ryu beats him for free. Chun has EVIL throws. And Balrog beats Sagat. Zangief ain’t bad, either. Surprised nobody’s throwing his name out there.
Claw isn’t consistently good, but playing against him seems like more of a gamble than anything else. One knockdown, and it’s shenanigans all the way home
He is very beatable though, he’s one of my main characters, and I get beat all the time

Ryu over Dhalsim for Free…? damn bro how you figure that? only real thing that Ryu has over Dhalsim is the dragon Punch. Im no real fan of Dhalsim but shit got to give him the props he deserves!
Zangief can be damn good against anybody but he has mad trouble against A person that knows hows to use his projectiles " read Kuni vs Choi '04 " plus he always has to be close and it takes him a while to get there. not like the other top characters!

It’s that shoryu that kills Sim. Nothing else, really. But if you’re quick, you can catch anything he throws out with that dp. I’ve seen it happen countless times. Especially in the JP leagues. at the “penis-hitting shoryu”. JP players are so weird…
Oh, I know Sim owns, I’m just saying he has major trouble beating that dp. A really good Ryu player beats a good Sim player because he has an advantage. Kinda like Ryu having an advantage over Dudley in 3s when he’s lower tier. It’s just because of a few moves that always beat out the opponent’s.
Yeah… I said he’s good, but not godlike… :sad: I always hated playing against the better 'Gief players, since I mainly played Chun, Fei Long, and Blanka. No matter how much I study, I just can’t apply my strats in a match situation. I suck under pressure

I’m thinking about switching it up though character wise. I use Sim and Hawk. But I use to use Ryu and DeeJay and I might go back. I want to learn boxer like black people like BBQ but my reaction time and hand eye cordination isn’t up to muster yet. -sigh- in due time.

Next time I visit Seattle I will definitely be down for some ST. By the Way Sim wins against Ryu but a good Ryu can beat Sim if you put on a lot of pressure. Of course O. Sagat is an all around good character.

I read this SF trivia page recently, and it said they came up with the character design for Blanka because a Capcom higher up took a shit, wiped his ass, and the shit stained tissue looked like Blanka’s SF II WW character select screen picture. It’s a famous story, I found it here!
