Awesome! Wed. it is. I normally get home at 8pm because of traffic, but I can leave earlier and get home around 6 if people can make it that early. What time is good for people? I guess earlier is better so we can have more playtime, but no reason to leave early if people can’t come early

If you’re serious about it, I’d be happy to teach you. I saw you play MSH and you obviously have no problem with execution – at the risk of getting flamed I will say that marvel games are much more technically demanding than ST. In my humble opinion, ST is much more about understanding matchups, and in that area I think I can help a lot. I would love nothing more than to make the seattle area the premier USA skill base for ST.
The cool thing is that all the important ingredients are there:
- Technically strong players - check.
- Motivation to win - check
- Places to play - check
ST is a very easy game to learn if you know marvel games. Anyone can learn the basics easily, and I’m sure you specifically doughboy could be a monster O Sagat for example.
Sure, I’d love to take on a second game now that I’ve hit a wall with MvC2. I’d argue your point regarding places to play in the NW though. I think my Marvel game is stagnant in part because there are a lack of locales where one can go on a whim and find comp. When and where do the lessons begin?
