All I was trying to say is parry is an option in third strike. It’s an option the characters were designed around. I am interested to see how they deal with it bringing them to a game that does not have that option. I didn’t think about how parries are offensive as well as in parrying reversals. So yes, reversals will be more significant. You’re right, you win.

The Dash punch would be too cheap as an armor breaker. period. Unless they changed it so it would knock down on hit, which would change her game up dramatically.

I have a feeling she’s going to be the Ken of this game, IE sick damage in the right combos and on paper the heaviest punisher in the game, but somehow it just doesn’t quite workout that perfectly.
Her command grab is either going to be like fei longs, a big ass startup for a free combo, or it will put them in a situation like what happens after you eat an ex tatsu from Ken where she’ll have just enough frame advantage to beat stuff but can still have her shit stuffed if you guess right.

A lot of the new characters in the game will be mid tier at least. If only for a little bit, purely because we don’t know what they can(not) do yet.

Among the SF3 characters, I’ll try Dudley first. I wanna make as many boxing matches happen as possible, plus rolling thunder is tight now, I’m hoping that it’s the better ultra. Too bad there isn’t like an actual boxing stage that is guaranteed when it’s Balrog vs. Dudley.
