That’s why you just turn on Live Reqests in Arcade Mode. Just launch arcade mode, easiest, 3/99, and sit at the select screen until A NEW WARRIOR HAS ENTERED THE RING!
I’ve tried that but it gets you the shittiest players in existence, who either literally make me worse at the game, or drop on me. Either way a waste of my time.
I’m just annoyed that I can’t casually sit down and have worthwhile matches at this game - I have to set aside a fat time frame in order to do so. Between the cinematic ultra moves, slow gameplay, and crappy online interface it’s just a waste of my time to try to squeeze some matches in before bed. Don’t mind my ranting, I’ll just play HDR before bed now.
Probably depends on when you play. I have it set to Higher Rating priority, and last night after midnight I ended up playing for hours against one extremely competent opponent after another. Occasionally Japanese players, as that’s more in their prime time hours.

Dhalsim is fun, air teleports are too beast.
Also with online the higher you are ranked the more likely it is that you will play better players.
I’ve noticed that every time I get back from a local tournament like Preppys or Coles I get alot better and it makes winning online easier and easier. The first time I got back from Preppy’s I went online and went from 4,000 bp to 5,000 in a couple hours. When I got back from Coles Sunday I went from 5,000 to 6,000bp in a couple hours. This just shows me that there are alot of things you just can’t learn from only playing online. The local SF scene has really helped me up my game. Good lookin out :tup:
