Your comment had nothing to do with me, but as a good player playing the two, I made a very distinct difference between the twoâs game play and could decipher who would be the better player. for starters a new character would help, and break old habits. You have to go in with a blank slate on this one.
Who would be the equivalent of an ST Guile in SFIV? Axel is one patient mofo, that is until he starts doing his Macho Man impression.
He could still rock Guile if he wanted to. Just canât flash kick like before. Air grab is dope as anti air, so is low fierce, standing forward. Guile still has some good normals, got a decent target combo (low forward, f+strong), he just requires a bit of a different flow from before. Youâll still be playing defensively so thereâs that. He still has the best projectile in the game. Besides that, Axel would be one of the two Guiles we have in Seattle if he played. My outlook on it is that, in ST, you still have to work hard to win with Guile, this game is the same but for different reasons (flash kick not being as good being the primary one in my eyes).
Axel-I could try to teach you. What exactly do you need help with?
youâre missing the point hereâŚif he goes to find someone with the equivalent of an ST Guile, heâs going to be doing ST shit, he just needs to find someone new to pick up and learn and get used to trying to learn a new game all over again, itâs not like no one else had to do that. EVERYONE had to do it, the sooner you get it over with the more time you can work on fine tuning your shit.
Canât wait until I start going to events so I can get called out on the boards like the big boys.
