No famous player has ever been mean to me, just somewhat aloof, or I have been given a bad impression by what I perceived to be bad sportsmanship.
A player you have heard of, at evo when we had casual rotation for ST going, one dude’s MAS stick kept blue-screening (pausing randomly-is the fault of the shitty PCB mas uses, not player error). Famous player kept getting this SHOCKED expression on his face and LIGHTNING FAST pointing his finger at the player with the malfunctioning MAS stick.
All I could think in my head was “WTF, this isn’t tournament, we all KNOW you didn’t pause it, what are you pointing for…” I kind of lost a touch of respect for the guy, it seemed hella immature.
NKI is also one of the nicest players, he money matched me and played his best, I think it was 5-2 him, it was amazing just playing the best Chun Li in America with something on the line.
BTW Dr. B if you have heard of him, refused to money match me like we agreed once he saw me play ST.

You know what is really bothering me as of late?
People that don’t understand the concept of combo videos. There have been a few responses like:
Those combos aren’t legit because the meter is set to infinite
These can’t be done in game
and my recent personal favorite:
This video is horrible, next time try to do the combos against a moving target…
I wish someone could explain to everyone the premise of a combo video, so that way these kids can stop wasting people’s time with their comments.
You need to have more Art of War quotes and longer credits for the kids to understand.
Or you could do what Magnetro does and disable comments on all your videos. Those tiger knee drill kicks are awesome with Cammy, and actually gives her a decent way to combo into her full ultra for once.
I’ve had like four weak ass players disconnect on me today. Cammy had scrubs rippin up ethernet cables. Ranked matches are like hella stupid. I really wish there was a disconnection percentage # you could see in the lobby pre-match. I also wish there was a way you see how much BP someone has pre-match so that if you have a crazy amount of BP, that you could kick the person trying to play you if they have a low ass amount.
Your video was put up on YouTube, son. You’re gonna get those ALL the time unless you just disable the comments. Combo videos are meant for exhibition, but YouTube keyboard warriors are always going to look for something to lift and use in their own comic book shop tournaments.

No, the important part to me was an approximation of the times to beat. The focus attack lariat punish is a fundamental of speed-running here. =\
I’m half-heartedly interested in getting the achievements: I have zero interest in spending focused hours doing them.
This site is trying to get some SFIV tournaments, go there and I made a team named “Team 206ness” you guys can join, I made it open so anyone can just jump in. This is all on XBL though (the 206ness team, but there is a PSN league too!)

I was wondering if some of you would take “assignments” because honestly unless something changes in people’s online selection, I am going to be going to evo with experience against maybe AT MOST 25% of the cast.
I need practice against Viper, Asshole honda, Gen, Gilly, Cammy and probably others I can’t think of.
I should probably start learning Gen just to know how to fight against him, but gottdamn he is tricky to use, but his combos are tight as hell…

Man, I am having a hard enough time motivating myself to play this game, let alone try and help you out with other match ups. That reminds me though, Jason (the future) has a nice Honda.
Wow, Capcom needs to change the online system for this game…and FAST. I was winning online matches for about an hour straight. The thing was, every fuckin person I beat had very low BP…so I was getting like +1 BP for every match I was winning. However, I finally lose to a Ryu scrub who was doing random ass shit…and I lose 123 BP for it. WTF? I was at 3076 at one point, but now I’m back down to 2953. Fuck this shit.
