I went to PlayNTrade in Tacoma the other day to pre-order Marvel 3 and the guy said I was too late to pre-order because they’ve already shipped. I asked if he was sold out and he said no. I asked if I could just reserve a copy then and he said no.
WTF? I’d go somewhere else but I have a 40$ giftcard to PlayNTrade. weak.
It’s been known that Play N Trade is a weak business.
I know that now. lol I got the gift card randomly for Christmas and figured I’d save it for Marvel.
The dude was a prick too. He huffed and puffed when he heard my mention of MvC3 like a fuckin toddler. After I pick this game up, I’m definitely not going back there. Haters.
Again, it depends on how many copies they have and how many people are in line. The one in Tukwila would be a safe bet, but I’m going off one experience when I went to kick it with my neighbor who had already pre-ordered MW2. I didn’t pre-order but they said they had extra’s that they could sell, so I ended up getting one that night as well.
This was at the GS next to the Barnes and Noble across from REI and Bed, Bath and Beyond.
If you really need a disk, you can go to the microsoft store in bellevue. I think they will burn u a game on the spot.
Gamestop in Whitecenter is going to close at 9pm then open back up at 10pm with MvC3 being playable on PS3 and 360 systems until midnight release. Most likely no joysticks but whatever I just wanna play MvC3 already.
I’ve never pre ordered a game I went to buy on midnight release. THe last one I think I actually pre-ordered was halo 2. They don’t care as long as you’re gettin the normal version. Although with GoW2 I actually bought the special edition on the spot.
BTW the game so far seems fun and pretty open to alot of combos. Max dmg combos are flashy as fuck.
Right now I think I’m rockin Deadpool/zero/wolverine.

I was working my Black ASS off to try and get MvC3 early to seattle. Thinking you guys be all for it, but everyone i think is on their own gravy train. Could not get any support to get this. Im still amazed and flabbergasted.
NW fighting game outlook confuses the hell out of me, but im just gonna trust that u guys just did your own thing within your little groups. Cool, as long as people are playing.

it was as easy as burning a disk and having a modded xbox.
Stores can get screwed if they sell earlier. Not really their fault. The only actual problem is people pirating the game early.
I would politely suggest that that kind of discussion not be done on the forums.

Hey, I’ve never been to a 2d fighter game tournament before. I am good friends with Zerostar in the community, am old friends with Duggish, and know of Riki-Oh. I’m a Brawl pro (I know, not that it means much) I am a competitive person though, and have a stick and blazblue/SSF4/mvc2/and am getting mvc3 at noon. I might show up to a couple tournaments if I end up enjoying the game, so it would be cool to meet some people and just hang and learn the game :). I do learn fast and if I’m having fun I know I can get good, but it will be a hard road if I do!!
my pre-tier list team is Joe/Dante/Zero. If something isn’t working out, changes will be made.
