It sounds like the PS3 and 360 versions have the same frame lag issue where stuff randomly is unblockable. I’ve been hit with a lot of randomly thrown out AHVBs on the PS3 version… a lot. Seems like if you aren’t blocking before it comes out you won’t block it.
I got the ps3 version. Its probably just me and my lack of Marvel skills, but chains seem “different” than they are in the arcade, like I have less time to cause the chain to happen, where it will combo, I don’t know seems weird. Also I haven’t been able to find any games to play it just keeps saying no games found and then I tried to search for a match and it froze. maybe its just to early in the morning for marvel.
What up
I’m a marvel player from Northern CA in Seattle for a few days. Only a few player where I’m from so I’m looking for some competition. Gonna try and make it to the regional tourney but I want to play some casual matches. Where is the best place to go? I also play GGXXAC and Blazblue.
man you can play people??? Thats pretty crazy I can’t get a single match. It keeps just saying you’ve lost connection to the network and shit. Though I play SF4 just fine.
The stat tracking needs some serious work. tu4ar says that I have 27 wins and 0 losses, and yet the in depth tracking shows I’ve only played 23 games (and lost one of them using a team of Spiderman/Iceman/Venom, wut?)
I’ve played 800 matches or so on the Xbox 360. It’s pretty great. The issues here and there do change the game - dash and jump block become more risky, but it still seems like a really enjoyable game.
The world doesn’t actually work on “internet time”. You actually have to look into problems and fix them the right way as opposed to saying Abracadabra and just being Magically Done. 1-2 months seems almost like rushing things. I realize most everyone else doesn’t write software for a living and thus has a complete lack of perspective, but – I do. These things take time, and it’s really important that they do so that things don’t get rushed and you don’t end up with new problems when you did slip-shod rushed repair work.
Yeah, I understand how the patching process works. Any patch is going to take that long. I really do understand. I’m just saying - at least one or two months. Frowny face.
Where da gamez at dis week? After lunch on Tuesday, I’m basically free till the day of NWM. Unfortunately, I haven’t been at the house much, so it’s a complete mess. That, coupled with the fact that Kuenai has my stick means that I’m iffy about hosting.
They == whoever makes the patch. Honestly, I assume it would be Backbone? And that they’re not contractually obliged to at this point, so why would they? Unless Capcom hires them to do it, which hasn’t happened.
Unless Backbone actually gets the profits for additional sales, in which case they themselves have decided that it’s not worth their time.
They should release HDR in Japan. That might be a good excuse to patch a few things.
But yeah, Marvel! Lots of fun, wish they let you save recordings.
This is the fucking truth. Some matches I just keep trying to wave dash even though I’m getting my ass beat just to prove to myself I can do it. Instead, I get HPx25 and viperbeamed or hailstormed to death.
Anyone ever see that flick Four Rooms with the quentin tarantino segment at the end? He bets this guy his car if he can get his lighter to light 10 times in a row, but if the guy loses, tim roth cuts off his finger… anyway, I think you could make the same wager over fast-flying ONCE in ten on the TE stick. Nuff said.
