We need more CvS2 players in Seattle

im going to research Kyosuke’s stun meter and life bar amount.

edit - 13600 and 60 stun, whoopee.

I seriously tried KyoSUKE against a decent CVS2 player once, and I got destroyed every damn time. Which sucks, because I find him to be an interesting character.

You guys know Kyosuke is in his own shit tier, right? Go play some rival schools mang.

Kyosuke is probably in actuality better than King, Raiden, Haohmaru and perhaps Dan…

King is another character i actually like using in this game but she gets whupt too.

The funnest character in CvS2 to me, is N Chun. Don’t practice anywhere near enough with her though =/. It’s tight when you do like low jump forward/mk, rh lightning kicks (2 hits), standing strong, lvl 1 kick super, super jump rhx2 into mixup.

Dan doesn’t count  Haohmaru at least has that good HP. Hahah. I guess yeah, King and maybe Raiden. I’ve seen some Raiden’s do pretty well with like RC breath but never a Kyosuke. :amazed: Then again I’ve never really watched a japanese Kyosuke player.

Well no one really plays him… I think its more cause they don’t like him as a character. But most players agree he has all the tools to do good, if anyone would practice with him. Of course compared to good characters, he still sucks.

I hate N Chun (playing against her)…especially when I have Sagat or Kyo…someone who guards high.

All this talk about Kyosuke…Air combo: d+f hk, jump late, lp, lk, mp, hp, hk, land.

For some reason…the thought of a magic series in Cvs2 is gross to me.

It’s what makes Kyosuke fun! Even if you rarely get to use it. I know some people use Morrigan just for that.

Whaddya mean by someone who guards high? :looney: I don’t get it.

Oh thats because in Cvs2, she can spinning bird kick trap you real easily. Spinning Bird kick recovers fast enough so that you can throw out another jab or walk up throw.

The thing is that it only works when people are bit taller, people like Blanka, Sagat, Bison, Raiden people like that.

So the trap goes like this:
c.lp, c.lp, c.mp, spinning bird kick…throw, repeat, or c.lp, c.lp, cmp super (or spinning bird kick)

I’m not very good with Chun, so this is my mock example, but that’s pretty much how the trap goes.

If someone does it like that consistently you can dp between the cr.mp and the spinning bird kick, as the cr.mp only combos to spinning bird kick on counterhit. So it’s best to do cr.lp, st.hp xx spinning bird kick.

Doesn’t Kyo’s DP suck hella bad though?

Strong DP is good against jump ins, if it trades you get a free Orochinagi. How cool is that?!:wgrin::wgrin:

umm, it’s not hella bad, it’s just not invincible at the same time it’s hitting. But it still has full body invincibility during startup, so it will at least trade with hella shit. And it’ll definitiely beat spinning bird kick when canceled into off of cr.mp.

I remember lots of people complaining about his DP so I figured it was bad.

The Aerial affect that it has is sub par. Unlike most other DP’s, like ryu, ken, akuma, sagat’s, the hit box is all fucked up. It’ll miss SO MANY jump in’s if they’re shorter than his hit box…which is a pretty easy thing to do…

its not bad at all, but it moves forward quite a lot compare to normal uppercuts. it works basically the same other than u have to see where they are jumping in at you, it wont work when they try to cross you up or jumping in a little too close at you, but kyo can always st.mk which is one of the best anti-air in the game, beats even cross ups

Pablo, since you and I are the only two people amazing enough to play 'gief we should have some matches to get our RC 360s down. When are you free?
