i actually played my first game today!!!
so i go to pay and this dude using v13 is mashing d. i didnt care if i lost, so i played him. his homie was like, “cmon dude, hes 2 stages from beating the game” im like i dont give a fuck. so i press start and nigga i rushing me to pick my character. im like " nigga dont rush me i dont even know who the fuck is in this game" any ways he mashes D to victory and im just like ok. i did manage to lmost beat him a round with absolute no knowledge of the game. he didnt even make it passed rachel hahaha. i hope he lurks or posts on here cuz hes a fuckin ***. but i doubt it.
i get to actually play a match to learn the game (thanks nate) and i do like it. arakune is very much the style i like to play. using projectiles, teleports, and tricks to zone the opponent is definitely tight. hes like blackheart with combos haha
after evo though…

Definately josh, I went to practice learning some of his BnB’s tonight. Definately tricky to get a hold of but I feel like I’m making pretty good progress. I’m glad to hear you like the game
Nu is a total bitch to fight against still. I feel like I have no good way to keep on her and pressure, but I do know if I land a curse and get some mixup going I could get her in the Rekka loop for a bit. I need to figure out which moves of hers aren’t so safe so I can recognize openings.
edit: Wenzel uses Litchi! He’s pretty good with her too.
I welcome the hate. I honestly didn’t even know v-13 was so raw when I decided to play her, I just saw some vid of someone doing her bnb and that was it. I had to pick her. Plus I will always use a character with an eye patch.
I’m loving the excitement over this game. Hopefully it isn’t like GGXX back in the day where the tight people who played somehow got replaced with nasties, let’s try to avoid that.

Game is fun. Just going through the story modes n arcade n shit. That Bango guy’s ‘super’ is hilarious.
Oh lord. I’m probably wrong (since the game’s new and I’ve only played a bit), but Hakumen’s plasma field (yes that’s what it IS.) lets you throw down some of the most gross damaging combos ever. Love it. Oh and black Hayato-men is hot too…wish I had that finish unlocked.

well this game is gross to me. for every good character there is one stupid character and theres 2 borderline coo/ass characters. ill be damned if ima pay 60 bucks for this. 30 on a good day or i want a joystick with it. im also not a gg fan
ill explain. i like jin, ragna, v13, litchi, and noel. i dont like clover, arakune, tager, taokaka, and rachel. harry fuckin potter, opera mask kankuro puppet, giant vash coat hell boy, stupid fucking cat thing, and lolita can lick my ass. bang and hakumen are the borderline characters that are kinda ass but kinda cool.
this game is 60 bucks, ill give you 30.
well, in sf you get army guy, headband, dictator, claw, sumo, boxer, etc.
if youre gonna base it off of character design GGXX and BB have way better ones, considering they werent designed in 1980. if sf was made in the 2000’s then we wouldnt have generic white gi karate guy.
i love sf4, dont get me wrong, but its a nice change of pace considering that X amount of characters have cr. lk, cr. lp, cr. mp xx special FADC ultra/another special/ex special.
the difference is i like street fighter hahaha but yeah for every character i like in street fighter there is a stupid one. sf4 came out to console i didnt think about how much it was i just copped. this game is out, and i dont wanna pay for it. kof xii has the same problem for me because of their shitty cast. ill probably get blaz blue before kof just because more people will play it
