Online is incredible so far. No lag as far as I can tell once the match actually starts. Seems like the system is doing a lot of work in background as the stage and character intros are going on.
Yeah, the online play is definitely a step up from SFIV. When I tried ranked match, opponents instantaneously popped up. Connections are generally solid, and the lenient timing for combos hides the minimal lag present.
The players though are another story… it seems like you either get someone who’s not even competent enough to do a 2 hit combo , or a pro whose been playing in the arcade for months. There’s not much in between so far O_o
id fuck with this game for 10 bucks. i will be cruising chinatown and the nearby hood safeway parking lots looking for the crackheads with deals. i might come out with the game and some batteries for 15 bucks
Being able to save match videos and review them in replay theatre is a great feature. You can slow it down and go frame by frame for those WTF moments.

I actually enjoy hakumen. He does too much damage for insane combos like: J.C
or QCF->C.
His counters are pretty tight too.

Yeah I’m maining Hakumen…simple gameplay but bad-a.
I also LOOOVE Bang…but his fucking ultra activation is sooooo bad that I almost don’t wanna play him…but his got too much style, and has a back air kick like it’s Melee! The game overall (to me) feels like streetfighter meets melee. Which is a very good thing in my book.

Playing Taokaka is so incredibly amusing. You can see people being confused about being crossed up with her drive pass through because they start walking toward you into your next combo.

I want to purchase this game after Evo. I have no idea what character I want to use as my main. I haven’t even tried the game out yet. Looks like a fun game though.

This game is pretty cool, I had some time to burn, so I beat the game with v. 13. I’m all about mashing D. I like the caharacter designs, I think they’re overall better than GG.
