I’ve been interested in Strange for a while. I really dig him a character.

I’m playing Magneto/Strange/Doom. It’s awesome and so fun to play, and also works great. Works in any order as their assists help each other. I go for Disruptor/Bolts/Missiles. You can change Bolts to eye of Agamotto because it’s also very good for Magneto due to the lockdown. I love this team! You can also change Doom for Sentinel if you want Magneto+Drones, as Drones also help Strange a lot.
Anyone here is keen on Shuma-related technology? I want to run some tests, but I need to know how much can an all-alone Shuma BNB take, and how much damage could he get with disruptor/bolts/missiles extensions. :3
I’m friends with hAZ Angelic and he’s a very good Shuma specialist. I was with when him played around with Shuma/Strange and finding different ways to loop starting Strange. Shuma’s BnB is pretty strong and w/o meter should be in the 500 range at least to 600. Shuma won’t get too much damage off of the assist extensions imo. A bit with Bolts maybe and maybe you can add in some eyeball bombs with missles.
Bawt… I asked a brazilian Shuma player who’s a friend of mine to do a BnB midscreen from cr.L with my team. I think that can be even more streched (not that it needs to) and just by seeing it I could find some ways to start a FoF-loop without spending any meter (again, not that it’s needed too). Shuma’s got some weird approaches, crossup potential alongside bolts, and kara-throws. One hit from our little enemy, and people are done. I’m hitting the lab with him today to run some more tests. For now, this is what he did:

You can just combo into Mystic Stare, launch, MMHS, raw tag into Strange, then FoF loop.
So it does work. That’s what I had in mind 
Oh that’s what you were looking for? Lol yeah it works timing isn’t too hard. If you wanted to DHC you could always do Mystic Stare into Hyper Mystic Stare into any of Strange’s super besides Lvl 3. Hitstun is really scaled after SoV DHC though. :o
Still, it doesnt cut it for me. Magneto is too fun and effective to use. I’m sticking with Mags/Strange/Doom
Anyone here try out Strider/Strange? I’m thinking of trying him out with Dante anchor as usual, since oki-based point characters seem to be the most fun for me. Characters like Jill and Firebrand even though I can’t make sense of Firebrand’s playstyle. Thinking you can just DHC from Legion into 7 Rings and get a full combo from there. Since Strange is guaranteed to build 2 bars with an assist even after a long combo, you should be able to get a double SoV with Vajra assist for a ToD on anyone.
Hey Strange players, if I wanted to make a team of magneto/?/strange what do you guys think would be my best options?
I’d say Doom, Spencer or Vergil, Sazerac. Magneto/Doom/Strange is one of the formations I use with my main team, the other ones being Magneto/Strange/Doom (the main one) and Strange/Doom/Magneto (this one focusing on Strange). You get TAC infinites/combos, you get a better vortex capability since if people are waiting for the TAC you will reset them with the FChamp-special and kill without even using meter, and you get solid mixup capability due to Mag-Bolts.
Spencer is also cool because he works WONDERS with Bolts, he can extend both and Mags/Strange with armor piercer, or help them both with mixup-possibilities using slant-shot. Obviously, he will also basically guarantee that Magneto will kill out of a DHC since he will save Spencer the wallbounce and all that.
Vergil is a great possibility for the same reasons that Spencer is, but he is derpy and all. I wouldnt use him though because you already have two glass-canon-like character at 850K health. But anyways, he’s still Vergil.
No need to worry about glass cannon. Vergil provides the strongest and safest dhcs in the neutral any way. You may have less health but you’ll get hit less by virtue of using somebody as cheap as Vergil. Not really the game to worry about if someone is durpy. You gotta have something good and fast/durpy on your team in this game.

And Vergil can set-up a FoF loop out of a hard-tag, like I posted in the Strage Thread earlier today 
Recently picked up Strange…trying him right now as Strange/Storm/Trish…not sure on storm…Does anyone have any suggestions for a replacement?
This order doesn’t really make sense, haha. Doom/Disruptor is really not that good. Don’t know why you wouldn’t play Strange/Magneto/Missiles instead since Magneto has the easier TAC infinite anyway and Magneto/Missiles is just better overall.
I agree Mags/missiles is better, Mazio, I just dont like to be conditioned to TACing, and I think anchor Magneto is better than anchor Doom… but the order is indeed Magneto/Strange/Doom, it works too well not to use it.
BTW, there was a way to DHC an SoV into Sentinel’s plasma hyper, wasnt it? I know the regular DHC drops out, but if I remember there was a way…
Also, the guetto MSS’ are great teams as well. Magneto/Spencer/Strange, or Magneto/Storm/Strange…
Storm can actually do damage backed by Starange
I just started learning Strange to round out my teams. I go with the philosophy of learning a bunch of characters that can be rearranged to form different strats and approaches. Trish is my favorite character, so I build everything around her. With Strange, I’m going for:
Dante/Trish/Strange–FoF loop on any touch, 2 great assists for Dante, Trish infinite if necessary. High mobility. Team is not terrible if out of order.
Trish/Dante/Strange–If I have a matchup that Trish dominates with Jam Session and Bolts. She can fly around and induce rage quit, though this is a big damage nerf from the previous arrangement, easily resolved w/ one DHC.
Nova/Trish/Strange–I probably don’t have to explain how dumb this is.
Trish/Nova/Strange–get unblockable w/ Round Harvest, Centurion Rush and Strange raw tag.
The Strange forums are great. Lots of info. Working on the FoF loop is my priority right now, since that makes these teams pretty gimmicky.
Also, I’m not going to play this, but I think Skrull/Strange has a lot of potential.
