In another news, Team-Nemo got some cool stuff for Strange when he is on point too. I was working on that, and on leveling up my Nova. That team is probably the only team that manages to be fun besides being broken in this game. And not for Strange to be there, Nova/Spencer are a really cool duo
It seems like Spencer becoming quite a must if you want to let your point get crumble (Nova, Chun, Shehulk etc…) and tag Strange for his FoF. It seems that for some characters (Again, those who capable creating crumble state) Spencer/Strange becoming strong shell.

Has anyone actually gone through and tested all of other supers to see which ones actually net you more damage than just a simple dhc?
I think Thor to Strange might not (haven’t 100% finalize the combo yet maybe I missed a complete one in Serp’s video I’ll have to rewatch)
My Idea combo is
Basic Thor BNB mighty strike xx tornado xx rings
Palm loop -> Palm + thor beam xx dp+m , Eye of Agamotto Extension of some sort that I haven’t figured out.
I got up to the dp+m and it does just a bit more than the dhc and builds 1 meter when you start with 2. Unless the extension is seriously that much more damaging and builds more meter it would seem just doing a longer Thor combo would be better.
Ugh can’t get eye extensions to work properly : ( So far from 2 meters tops out at 1.1ish thats pretty good
thor beam xx qcb+m(red grace) , Eye of Agamotto, IP, teleport up,j.IP land IP,FoF,IP,FoF,IP,Mystic Swd HxxSoV. Tho the Dmg is scaled greatly due to the EoA it builds great meter depending if you had another assist you can tack on another eye for more meter.

What are you doing to get Thor beam to connect ? The loop I do after DHC is (whiff rings) IP xx FOF, IP, S IP xx FOF, IP (land) IP xx FOF, IP, S IP xx FOF x 3, Land IP+THOR xx FOF and then I tried both grounded and tk Eye and neither connected people just popped out instantly.
I got a friend here in Brazil that played RR already, but wanted to pick up Strange after the video!
I swear these two were made for each other. Just today I figured out a way to set up a Strange TAC infinite off Rocket Raccoon that isn’t stupidly hard.
I dont know xD my Dogthor team is very good. 1150k damage starting from Thor cr.L and a flashy neutral game
Strange teams that imo can be better than my team are
Nova, Zero, Viper, Firebrand or Magneto/Dogtor
Trish/Dogtor, maybe yes maybe no. Trish and Thor are on par
Nemo team is very good but im not sold
Modok/Strange/Doom, but i have yet to see Mazio Strange/Doom synergy to have a real opinion on the Drs duo. Not in combos, in the neutral game
And im not that sure yet about the Strange/Vergil shell. I just feel its gdlk, and because tenboss have shown some great stuff

Strange/Doom is THE shell for ToD combos with Strange. If your character can DHC into 7 Rings whiff (or raw tag) and you have Doom assist, you are guaranteed a dead character with 2 bars built back in the process. That alone makes it one of the best Strange shells in the game.
Trish/Strange/Doom is ridiculous, because you can get 1.3m off a SNAPBACK MIXUP. SCALED BY PEEKABOO ASSIST. METER POSITIVE.
Hell, I’m pretty sure you could stick Derpgil up front and straight up kill things by just breathing.
After you land do s.:h:+Thor,IP,EoA,qcb:m:(red grace)IP then continue. I like to use the s.:h: after I land to compensate for the start up time of M Spark assist so they can link.
Yeah i know about the damage output boost with Missiles, but Strange/missiles sounds like a team that can be cracked with top rushdown teams like Wolvie/Plasma beam, Spencer/hawk arrows or Nova-Haggar-Hulk/bolts. So losing the point character might be decisive to the overall team. Coldstar, Plasma beam, rapid slash, GTFO stuff and maybe other fast assists can give Strange that instant momentum that he need sometimes. And i think Bolts/Missiles are two assists that provide more or less the same thing, fullscreen zoning and that lockdown that goes from fullscreen to close range (just like Sentinel Drones). Thats why i like Bolts/Coldstar more, because your point will be packed with two neutral assist that work different, and coldstar gives Strange fast momentum when he has to play on point unlike missiles, not to mention the THC Vishanti+Okami shuffle which is only comparable to Vishanti+Vergil.
Yeah I have, Serp, that was the one video that sold me for dog. Ammy’s assist is dumb, her THC setups are dumb, she is really good for both Strange and Doom.
Other than that, I’m playing with Nemo’s team, found some stuff for Strange when he is on point, and he can also ToD with those two assists, and I’m not even talking about that nasty ‘Nemo special’ combo that Kusoru pulled together.
IDK, that team is cool to play. I played Spencer for vanilla and most of ultimate, so it’s cool with him. Nova’s also a cool character, grown ass man and all. Maybe I’ll stick to that, who knows.
Strange isn’t free in neutral if that’s what you’re implying. Missiles is your best bet for hitbox flooding with Strange and you need only to make your opponent block a Mystic Sword M to cover Doom while he’s out. Having an EoA in front of you while Doom is out completely beats airdash approaches and beats characters who go for a teleport. Even if stuff Wesker’s gunshot can go through EoA, you just have to block and he’ll run into the Missiles-- even just putting a raw Flame out will beat it out afaik.
On the other hand, if your opponent’s beam assist (for example, Disruptor) cannot go through EoA, it’s as good as a raw teleport and you can punish them easily. If it’s Plasma Beam or Unibeam, having a raw Flame out will take care of it easily. I even ran Strange on point with Plasma Beam early on and the zoning was very, very good. Hard to get around, since Mystic Sword M + Plasma Beam covers the horizontal axis so well.
Sometimes whether or not something is “good” is a matter of perspective-- I’m a patient, defensive player and I prefer zoning and punishing opponents over aggressive rushdown, so naturally I will prefer flooding the screen with hitboxes and limiting the opponent’s approach options over stuff like the Cold Star blockstring.
