Do Strange and Phoenix work well together to set up Teleport mixups for the Doctor?
I was thinking about her Overdrive assist.
It’s possible, especially if you have Chaotic Flame DHC available. That shit hits like a damn truck.

people keep snapping in strange now since hes just my assist character.
new view on anchor strange, hes not too bad i suppose. but you need a few bars and the lead. i generally dont have xfc available anymore as i generally burn xfc1 on the first hit i get with haggar if its a lariat. its abit better now that im like 20% consistent with fof combos.
not just l.mystic sword, but l.MS covered with a lock down assist that you can confirm into a ToD on hit or a free EoA if they blocked.
What do you guys think about a MODOK(barrier)/Doom(missiles)/Strange(bolts) team?
It’s a theory team I came up with earlier and looks to be pretty viable.
Hey guys, I’ve been playing Strange since near the start of Ultimate, finally trying to settle on a concrete team for him…
I’m trying to run Viper/Strange (Bolts)/Dorm (Dark Hole) but I don’t know which Viper assist I want to use. At the moment I’ve settled on Seismic Hammer because I can go straight from a palm loop into FoF loops in the corner for a good 950k or so, but after hearing so much about Burning Kick helping with mixups I began to have 2nd thoughts.
You’re all way more experienced with Strange than I am, no doubt. So what should I be going for; Burning Kick to confuse and mix up, or Seismo to ToD?
Since Viper is on point I say stick with seismo to help you TOD
Experimenting with this team so far:
Dante (Jam Session)
Strange (Bolts)
Dorm (Dark Hole)
And debating whether to change Dante with Crystal and Dorm with Pillar. I don’t have much use out of Dorm’s Dark Hole in general and thinking of using Pillar instead for the GTFO assist while Dante’s Crystal could help both Strange and Dorm as combo extenders for OTG’s and could help out Strange during pushblock situations where it could give me time to set up EoA.
You can run that team in any order and it’ll be good with the assists you have now. No need to switch assists
What do you guys think about Dante(Jam Session), Hulk(Gamma Charge), Strange(Bolts)? I have been looking for a third character with an assist that works well with both for added pressure game. Dante teleport mixups with bolts should be pretty good and same with Hulk and Gamma Charge, only thing I’m worried about is having strange on anchor.
Dr.Strange, Dr.Doom, Dormamu. any order, any assist, whats the best way for these three to work with each other. best as in terms of, who should be rushing down, usage of assist, etc… roles of each character.

To further ellaborate, I’d go Dorm/Strange or Strange/Dorm, but always Doom as anchor, since he’s got the neutral game assist and a dumb-technology to abuse during xfc3. Strange/Dorm THC is ridiculous and enables FoF-loops after it in the corner, while bolts gives Dormammu ridiculous mixup opportunities. Think of it as FChamp’s team, only with a less-mobile but more-damaging point character.
Im trying to find a good team for strange ive been really liking Mags/Strange/Dorm. What assists should i use for this team currently im using Disruptor, Bolts, and dark hole. Should i change the team order and assists or is that a good team setup overall?

She-Hulk/Strange, anyone experiment with this before? She Hulk’s shenanigans would work pretty well with Strange’s Bolts, and the high/low + left/right mixup of a Torpedo + Strange’s teleport H could really open things up. Thoughts?

Didn’t enjoy it.
I use She Hulk/Strange and She Hulk and Bolts works wonderfully towards characters that are more reliant on the ground but is worthless against those that are mostly in the air like Spiderman/Magneto. In those matchups I just switch to Daggers assist since it makes people so scared to move around. She really doesn’t provide much for Strange though other than sometimes being able to call her, teleport above and J.S while she hits low, which you’ll never really get to do often, if ever.

I’m by no means going to imply that my team construction is the best but all I can say is I’ve tried just about every other variation and this one is most logical to me. Dorm has the least useful assists, gains momentum quickly, and gets super derp behind Bolts of Balthakk and Hidden Missiles. I put him on point. Slightly less advantageous but point Doom doesn’t make it much better if any, plus the assists are just too gdlk. Once you get on a roll, you will steamroll teams. I promise you will perfect more people than you ever have before. That’s just the nature of Dorm+ two fire assists. I honestly pick his assist based on what THC I want whether it be stalking flare or chaotic flame. Dark hole and purification are a little more applicable than Liberation. If you want to get fancy go ahead. Point Dorm allows you to actually use Liberation assist. Teleport spam and meteors? Pfffffff. That being said. You really only get one unless your Tac/raw tagging like a MF’er. In which case, you probably aren’t winning.
I’ve played Strange on point, helped me learn the character, however I am convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that starting Strange is asking for trouble. Opening gambit vs. Incoming character mixup. Pick your poison. I hate wolverine. Thus I play a point with abusive hitboxes on normals. Use Bolts for mixups or Eye of Agamotto for brain dead combo extensions and beefing up your zoning game… Be wary of HSD on the Eye.
Doom. Missiles. Forget rocks and beam. Dorm and Strange just synthesize so well with them. I hatehatehate Doom on anchor…but as long as people are gonna eat Footdives, Doom will regrettably stay anchored.
