Some stupid mistakes but here’s me playing against the best Ibuki in Europe
Are there any hints of clues on which way to block? I vaguely remember an explanation or video a while back, but cannot seem to find it.
You should avoid having to block the kunais all together. You can focus backdash a the kunai mixups where Ibuki crosses you up (Ibuki’s body not the kunai) and you can backdash some of the kunai mixups in front.
Most of it is just familiarity with the matchup but as you saw I got hit by quite a few of them. That was because I was attempting to focus backdash a lot of them which is quite difficult as you have to press focus as the kunai hits you.
First thing, after a neck breaker:

[]She takes two (or more) steps forward --> Kunai won’t cross up
[]She waits a second, does a superjump, throws Kunai --> no cross up
[]She doesn’t wait, does superump --> cross up

The big problem at the last two one is that she can throw it sometimes earlier or later, don’t really know how this changes things ;D
I don’t know the rules how to act after her kicks
Focusing works quite good sometimes but the timing is still very hard for me

When Ibuki does that Mk xx Tsumuji pressure, Cody does have options. He can reversal zonk after the Mk (or before), as it’s not a blockstring. Or, maybe a little unsafe, you can tap focus it you know another mk is coming for a counter hit crumple.

Is cammy’s backdash too fast to do OS MK ruffian? I tried yesterday playing a cammy and it was blocked.
You have to make sure the s.LK is as meaty as possible, against characters with quicker backdashes, to make sure the OS comes out as quick as possible. You probably done the s.LK too late, just do it a little quicker that’s all.
Around 1:43:50 that was a really sick cr. mk into throw.
to start this post off, I’m a complete scrub. So if my questions frustrate anyone i apologize in advanced anyway, my question has to do with guile…I read the advice and im gonna turtle the matchup from now on, so thanks for that. But what if I’m in a position where the guile player has a life lead and i’m forced to make a move? is there some fancy trick or whatever I can pull against a guile or is it kind of a guess-right-or-die situation? also, if i get knocked down and guile uses a ultra 2 on wakeup, can EX zonk through it?
Yer, you got a little lucky at the end of that 2nd round in the 1st match (whiffing over head thing from Ibuki). Good match though.

I noticed Mochomi will go for a cr.lk xx after the second hit of the Tsumuji vs the Ibuki. not sure if thats safe or semi-safe, or if it was opponent read.
I thought the second hit of tsumuji had frame advantage? or at least it seems that way

it gets alot better (I don’t want to say “easier”). he has his easy forward throw-setup removed and his f.hk (nightmare for cody) is -2 on block instead of +0, making his followup counterhit options way slower. you’ll prolly win a “jab fight” now.
I have to ask which way I should play against Cammy… played yesterday against one… she was not his main. His other chars were fine for me…
But his Cammy raped my ass extremely hard. One knockdown --> Fight over. Free jumpins all day.

s.lp, c.lp, c.mp, hk ruffian, b.mp are all great tools to stop divekick pressure. high hitting divekicks on block are also unsafe.
EX dive kick mutes completely all these moves u listed except HK RK, but it trades with the ex dive kick.
he can’t spam ex dive kick tho and needs his meter for other stuff aswell. he needs to take a guess, so do you. depending on the height, you can stuff it, too.
but we have all personal nightmare characters… mine is chun-li. every rock that I throw, is dedicated to her. hate dem sekzylegz lol
