I think hes pretty solid outside of the abstract way he builds meter. Pure rushdown from Sabrewulf is gonna be tough for him to deal with, but I think he can fight everyone else alright. His footsies get a lot better when his meter is full also.

Thats a huge lie the only thing he gets from full bar is the movement and dash
And to befair hes got at least 3 horrible matchs
Which obviously does make his footsies better since he has arguably the best low hitting normal in the game and the walk and back dash speed increase allows him to dictate footsies really well with it. His forward walk speed becomes better than Jago’s and he gets a faster dash also.
His worst match is probably Sabrewulf and over time that should get less bad considering how I feel he can turn it around with meter. He definitely has less bad matchups than my precious character Glacius. Main thing is Fulgore allows me to actually have a decent match vs Sadira and he does just as well or better vs everyone else other than Sabre imo.
Just FYI, them having an answer for fireball does not make the match bad.
Fulgore has all the tools a player needs to win a matchup in this game.

Oh yeah and his reset potential is through the roof
You always have a chance to win with this character.
As a player, that is all you should be asking for.
