If there are any of the haters still left, I would love to know what this means. What is ‘moving on’, if you got your wish and SFxT completely died tomorrow, what positive gain would that be to you? More players playing your game (SFIV no doubt)? You see this all over the place, people are actually begging for this game to die!

Joe, are we talking snippets from matches showing why things do/don’t work? Combo vids are excellent and all, but I think what would be cool would be to show certain things getting blown up INTO a full combo, from actual good matches. Clip a lot of those together and get someone to do some really fancy video editing for it.

Or how about just do it like 3rd Strike did and just have somebody do something amazing in a tournament situation and have it be seen by a lot of people. It’s not complicated…if the game truly is worthy of being played it’ll come about soon enough.
if you really hate this game so much, stop posting about it. why would you give attention to something you hate. when you see a SFxT post in the recent column just contain your desire to click on it.
if you guys make a video showing how to beat jab pressure, how to make throws useful, and how people get around dudes running down the clock, I’ll watch it. don’t need any of that dubstep or snark or whatever, just something informative showing examples.

Yeah you can’t beat stream monsters that mostly sit at their house any way.
Why wont you people just dwell in your own misery as a small community like the 3s scene instead of trying to push the game to people who just don’t have any interest in it?
Because when the game came out they had a real taste of what hollywood feels like and now they have fallen down to earth like the rest of us.
To be honest, I haven’t been paying that much attention to SFxT … but I think some top-notch matches with top-notch commentary would be the best approach. I think that’s the one thing that’s been seriously lacking. Maybe even a “best of” edit/montage of matches, for the people with short attention spans.
Wrangle up some people who have been putting time into SFxT and really understand the game, and put some showcase matches together. It doesn’t have to be tutorial style … that would be less interesting to people who don’t already play the game. But highlight stuff that people bitch about … examples of maximizing damage (aka avoiding timeouts), oki, jab pressure, AA’s, character variety (avoid showcasing too many Ryu/Kaz/Hugo/Rolento teams), etc. and make sure the commentators are talking about it. Throw in some solid video production (dubstep might be excessive??) and go from there.

Look like someone had a sip of the goose and could not get more than 10 dollars from game stop. Let’s try to brain storm ideas. I think the first step of this video is consolidating what people dislike about the Game and why the game sucks. Then either looking for examples of that going against it, or make a video of it.
The problem is we have a community of haters playing the game wrong. We have to show them how it’s really played. The same thing happened to cvs2 but the difference with this is that we have the Internet on our side.

You guys just need to keep playing and bumping that tech. After Gridman’s Rufus/Jack-X, you can’t say this is a low damage game or a time over game. Gridman was bodying fools to the fullest extent of the law. Similarly there was a Dhalsim on the Brazil stream who punished a forward roll with instant air teleport backwards n.hp into combo. Dude had trijump punishes for rolls.
So…just keep playing the game. I have been pretty vocal about how much ass this game is but I sat down to check it out. But then again I am also not retarded and willing to give shit a chance. Continue making content and they will come.
There have been threads and videos pertaining to those in this section (I have already downloaded gazillions of them for training purposes). The haters, of course, will completely ignore them and continue bitching on the game despite the improvements.
In regards to the topic, will this do? I’m having second thoughts of posting this here though.
