Nice matches shin. I wanted to ask you or anyone, since Lord brought this to my attn, you start your BnB punishes with st.HP. Are you pressing F+hp, HCB+lk? If i remember to st.HP i usually still manage to do cr.HP xx lk.tatsu.
another thing: how do akumas focus crumple, dash forward, st.HP xx fireball? that motion for me is 100% lp.srk (f,f, qcf+punch)

The dash from a focus crumple is far before the fireball motion, you’re supposed to dash out of the focus as soon as it connects. Don’t hold forward when you shouldn’t be. I don’t hold forward to do st.HP, I just consciously leave the joystick in a neutral position until I hit the fierce, then I do whatever other motion I’m looking for.

Yeh you should be in neutral when you hit st.HP on a punish, then you can get your cancel into Fireball > FADC > st.HP xx LK Tatsu out easily enough. It’s just practising getting the inputs into your muscle memory.
I don’t have a problem with the memory or the inputs [media=youtube]1lrU2ke5krE"[/media] , just that it seems st.Hp comes out quicker and won’t whiff on some opponents that cr.HP may (Chun).
Sometimes though, I’ve thankfully done cr.mk xx Fb > fadc > cr.HP xx lk.tatsu > SRK because the opponent stood up. i always forget and sometimes do fadc > c.mk xx tatsu and it whiffs on crouchers. =T great.

You’re right, but he rarely misses his big gen combos, even online. So in an offline environment, I think a) he probably would have completed the combo and b) JR would have still been mashing out demon trying to catch him slip.
