Yeah, but at that point in the match he probably thought the little bit of extra damage would be enough to win the round. An extra 50 damage is huge if the other guy has 49 health left 
The combo didnt cause that much damage because of the scaling, which makes your opponent tougher (less 25% dmg) when his life bar is low.
I think it was worth the meters, the Balrog player couldnt help but to watch his ass being kicked.
He would have finished him on that combo if he went crouching mid kicks in between the hadukens instead of light punches but I don’t know if it would have pushed Rog out to far for the tatsu shoryuken.

momochi’s switch ups are amazing. Dude has like a toggle switch from turtle to rushdown and beat face. Has akuma’s BnB’s mastered like woah.
I never noticed the damage scaling until now. Now that I’ve noticed it I don’t like it.
You have any idea how many people would have instant death/dizzy combos if not for the scaling?

What was he trying at the end? When Dhalsim teleports, what was the benefit over f.DP?
Maybe a demon flip mix-up, like many Gouki players used to do in TS.
i loved the 1:50 combo, looks like he was going for a Demonflip into throw, to me anyway. man wish my stick was here so i could try it out im finding it real hard to FCDC combos witht eh plane old 360 pads…so anyway back on topic anyone got anymore vids they like to shair with the class? :wonder:
Well at that point in the combo, a f.DP would do practically no damage. So he chose the option that would allow him to add more mixups at the end.
