its a Kara demon… akuma can cancel his normal moves into a raging demon… so the akuma player tried to sweep the e ryu player and the e ryu tried to punish with a focus attack , but the akuma cancelled the sweep by doing a demon its not that hard to pull off

What don’t you get in the input, it’s a pure demon inputs after a sweep. Nothing special. He didn’t even buffer it in the sweep itself.

loltima vids are great to understand how demon works. but that raging demon against evil ryu is something else. people who knows (or think they know) how to fight a good akuma player will abuse focus attacks/jump in when they are in akuma’s sweep range because they know we want that knockdown. To cancel sweep into demon you have to buffer 2 jabs after the sweep OR press jab and sweep at the same time and hit confirm the focus attack to complete the raging demon input.I personnaly think the 2 jabs after the sweep is easier to hit confirm. it also works when they jump but you have to time your input right. Understand that those 2 jabs after a sweep has to become a habit.(most top akuma players always buffer them even when they don’t have ultra). Also you have to be ready to start your mix up game if the sweep hits. that tech is a must for all akuma players who want to maximize their damage.

Hey im just wondering how you guys deal with reversals, specifically 3frame ones, cant fid many set ups that stuff/ make them whiff like before his throw nerf
Depends on the reversal, x-up tatsu & DF dive kicks still work great vs DPs.
Yeah the cross up tatsu is great but its probably my fault and im missing timing it but sometimes they dp me out of it, as for DF kick it seems to be very specific in order for it to stuff 3 frame reversals.
