P.P.S. isn’t it kinda funny that after recieving nerfs for three years with each version of the game, Akuma is now winning more international tournaments then he ever did and he get’s to top 8’s in most tourny’s now (even US tournaments saw FourWude). He’s probably in his weakest shape compared to other versions of the game, while most other characters are considerably better then they were and are at their prime… I don’t get it xD
That’s not true. Tokido won powerup got second at Final Round and won the France majors Beat by Contest and Stunfest during Super. (not to mention SBO with Momochi and Godsgarden with Tokido during Vanilla)
Eita winning this tourney is the second post Super major win by Akuma.

I think a lot of it has to do with Tokido and Eita sticking with Akuma for 4 years, while countless others are switching characters to “stronger characters”.

Did you see how he tried to avoid the handshake with Infiltration? But it looked like he got forced into it because Infiltration stayed in his face lol. And PR Rog’s response soon after it ended.

Infiltration didn’t troll him though, those df throws were setup by countless punishes to PR’s backdashes and headbutts. He was scared shitless and was conditioned to just crouch-back and infiltration knew he was scared. That’s why it worked. He only needed to jump, backdash or headbutt, but that’s called conditioning. Infiltration was IN HIS ASS hhahahhahaha.

Great weekend for akumas as two majors were won by akuma players, Pretty easily too. And lol at PR Rog getting salty at infiltration.
Eita has stepped his game up a lot. He looked strong from the start and aside from Banbaban resetting the bracket in finals Eita looked dominant in every match.
Two different events though, shadowloo in aussieland and seasons beatings in the states. Japanese dominated the first and koreans the second. When things got serious infiltration chose akuma, altough his gouken was as impressive as ever.
Eita was pretty much undefeated.
Oh my god, just watched the archives for Seasons Beatings, I was sitting there, watching as Infiltration going first to Hakan, losing a match to Combofiend, then picking Gouken, losing with him as well. I was like ‘damn this fool, I wish he’d pick Gouki now and just go 9-0 straight to the prize money and never fuck with another character’… What do ya think happend next? He chooses Akuma, goes 3 win’s straight againts Combo, then goes to PR Rog and beats him 6-0 making him look like a 1k PP noob from PSN, that shit just made my day, now, all I wanna see in SF4 history is that EVO 2012 is taken by -6 and I can fucking die happy xD
Shit’s hillarous man, I wanna see those bitches cry moar, fuck em, we get nerfs for 3 years and we are still playing the most powerful character story and gameplay-wise (and our shit takes a lot of skill, it’s fucking art, not just brain-dead spamming of mindless gimmicks like those supposedly better characters have) and THAT should ALWAYS be the case with Gouki, if there’s ever a SF game with no Akuma in it - I’m not playing it xD
