Tokido VS Guy (AE 2012):

Just watched, nothing new by Tokido it seems… (btw, Guy’s backspeed seems noticeable, good for him Edit: and damn, he blocked palm low! ffff- :’<<)

First round is like I lose to every Guy player, they just trash my like that. And of course I don’t don’t download them the following round and beat them lol

i was more upset at how during 0:10 that after s.hk gets blocked guy gets the momentum initiative of c.lk into pressure

Some of my matches vs a friend.

Well let’s not kid ourselves. Even when it was 0 on block a lot of characters could mash out their normals and beat any follow up we had. Fei, Bison, Chun, etc. The -2 is annoying, but honestly I am still playing footsies the same way.

In some cases you can now use that to your advantage though. The -2 actually makes it easier to SRK after a blocked s.HK to punish mashing.

Wow, has everyone seen the footage from the a-cho tournament in Japan? -6 and Eita were beasting, omg those matches gave me so much inspiration lol, that was such a joy to watch.

In case somebody still haven’t seen it, go to this dudes channel and the last three uploades should be the AE footage from the tournament.

What channel?

Oh shit sorry forgot to post the channel lol
here it is —> http://www.youtube.com/user/zero3japan

Beasting indeed! I didnt know the s.HK. loop was possible on Adon!!

hi guys. ive made a new video on how to OS Akuma on wakeup.
let me know what you think!

I just watched 1 hour of -6 footage (it’s on eventhubs front page right now) and I’m wondering if he’s actually become better than Tokido.

 • way better anti airs
 • flawless execution, just like tokido
 • Footsies better or on par with tokido

Yeah dude, I’ve been watching -6 for a while now and he’s up there. He’s a very reactive player and adapts well. Tokido is fantastic, but he is very fixed on his style. Each has their strengths and I catch myself doing a double take when -6 doesn’t capitalise on a ripe setup whereas when you’re watching Tokido he’ll follow through like a robot with perfect timing to crush his opponent’s options.

Funny thing about -6 is that he’ll often go for fadc into fs.hk combos - even when its highly unlikely it’ll work. Hell, the dude even tries to loop Adon and Cody players and actually connects with it now and then xD

-6 and Infiltration are my favoured Akuma players lately. Thats also because its been pretty quiet on the Tokido front - we’ve seen very little of him in AE running Akuma, the bulk of it has been Seth. These arcade battles the top dogs are having in Japan sound interesting (with Tokido running Akuma, finally) though there has been no video footage. Frankly I want to see Daigo VS Tokido as I have my suspicions it’ll be a white wash. Daigo is doing well lately and Ryu is tough as hell for Akuma.

I’d say his footsies are better than Tokido’s and AA is an important part of that. -6 is a hard man to convince to move backwards. His aggression is backed up with incredible reaction times and spacing.

Just made a ‘best of’ video for - 6 if you’re interested.

this guy plays like no other for sure.
