I was just throwing stuff around since I’m in full practice mode… umh… Mode…
Anyways, is more or less what I was talking about. It’s kinda sketchy since the timing’s sorta ambiguous (there’s a slight pause after the st.HP) but it does work if Ryu doesn’t do a quick standup after being knocked down by the shaku.
Doesn’t really fit the purpose of my setup because I am trying to cover all of Ryu’s options regardless of what he does. Your setup gets blown up by quckstand.
I just want to say that you guys should also test the opponent holding forward, crouch blocking, and backdashing as well against the dive kick. It seems that in both of those setups, they can just walk under.

Off Topic:
I seem to have lost my flow in the game.
I can’t read people the last few days and do stupid shit which causes me to lose to scrubs.
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong and I guess I’m overthinking everything.
Does anyone know how to get over this?
(Vid was taken before this)
The game takes concentration and this can burn out after a while. Take a break for a few days (a week is good) is the solution if this is the case. It helps you go back into the game with a refreshed perspective on what you’re actually up against in each game so that you’re not throwing sweeps, uppercuts or doing jump-ins at ghosts of the threats left by previous opponents.

wow i’m surprised that sabin was caught by some many mashed dps…you were full of ex stocks except on the last one, so he should/could have expected those…and seth’s dp beats akuma’s so he should have taken advantage of that.
Btw, why even play with people 10’000 km away from you? (like sabin and rico) I saw a lot of execution errors from both parts, how was the connection? Probably not good enough to mean anything anyways. I prefer to stick to european players for online matches…but then again my connection isn’t good by any means (7mbit down, 516k up)
That is more than enough for SF, 512 upload is enough to host a 12 man match in COD games :P. The problem with lag is latency(ping), it’s either bad from the ISP itself, the other person is too far away or some people are too stupid to turn off their torrent downloads/youtubing…etc while playing online. Japan is lucky enough to have an amazing network infrastructure + the best arcade scene out there =(
New video for Akuma players on eventhubs. Tokido worked with option-select.com to put together a basic video for mix-ups after the sweep. It’s short, sweet and simple; but it contains some subtleties that some users may not be aware of.
