Yeah, theres another match in which he does the demon flip crossup, but without the reset.
Scary shit.

MK Flip and Dive at or before the peak of his flip to crossup. That’s if they’re just going to stand there and take it, though.
LK Flip will work sometimes if they’re prone to walking forward, then it’s not really a crossup, otherwise they’d block it. You just hit from the top and land on the other side.
that makes sense so he could demon. Overuse is still overuse… he wasn’t getting punished for it so its all good. Not sure about the block string trip though. That would be a very weird time for someone to focus…lol. But mhee.
If they are prone to walkin’ then you lk demon flip and grab or kick. Its not a end all. Demon flips are just a mix-up game with the opoonent. Its not spammable but then again what is in SF4?
umm… Edma’s “stuff” is all “copied” from other players at the very least for akuma since he didn’t originally use him… Thats like saying I wouldn’t post a vid up because i didn’t want ppl stealing MY stuff when the only thing different from someone else’s might be I used a c.mp instead of a c.lp in a string against Gief or something… …lol
Another great Infiltration vs Poongko video:
Nice use of the Focus Armor at 1:42
Exactly. Honestly, I’ll only flip abuse on non-thinking players. It’s so easy to train them to do certain things, setting up an empty Flip Palm to Raging Demon is almost guaranteed.
I’m just assuming since the video is being private
Fujino is awesome:

Is “stuff copying” a serious thing?
Are people really guarding their “secrets”?
no and i don’t think so (although who knows…). I was only commenting on the fact someone said that Edma had “created” the things he was using in some video posted when he didn’t even start off using akuma and obviously has picked up stuff from watching vids and what not. To think otherwise is blatant dick hopping or just lack of knowing (don’t worry FMJ… I understand why you wrote what you did). Absolutely nothing wrong with that though. Its the way you wield your weapons not the fact that you had to use someone else’s weapon design.
I’m gonna call a what the fuck for his combo @ 1:53. Did he KNOW that tripping at the end of his combo was gonna do the stun or what? HP SRK does the same stun if that was the case. Did he want to take the wake-up chance over 70 damage or what and the stun was just coincidence?
and damn did he use a lot of tatsu cross-ups. I think that might be the reason he hit the jump in combo at around 1:40ish since he was tatsu crossing so damn much. Good safe use of it btw. Nice that balrog is a little taller.
Great anti-tech/lp spam EX tatsu @ 2:55 ish.
Where was Balrog’s Ultra @ 3:45 or so though!!! Would have made that last round closer. But yea… I hate that LAST little bit of chip damage health. Sometimes it can be a bitch to get because you are so worried as akuma of getting destroyed by a random Ultra.
Haha, that Balrog was such a choke artist.
I think the balrog player was trying to hold on to ultra to follow a naked headbutt since it would have been damaged scaled a fair bit after the combo. Holding onto the ultra also deters jump ins by the akuma player to finish him off is another way to look at it i guess.
I could also look at it in the sense that he missed a ‘naked headbutt’ into Ultra, and a BnB into Ultra. A couple random “Psychic” headbutts in there, and he really didn’t defend or punish any of the sloppy tatsu crossups.
Hell, if he was any good he’d simply Ultra counter when the Akuma did an Air Tatsu to escape the corner.
this.
that being said, 1 hit left, if you have an opportunity to land an ultra, use that shit. if he would have ultra’d, then any following combo would have gotten the kill.
his sweeps did have some purpose in this match, just before he performed that nice combo he was clearly fishing for the ultra bur the other player was having none of it. At other times (after fireballs) he used it to get a little more chip damage, the other player rarely punished so naturally he kept spamming. Agree with you though most shoto players tend to over spam sweeps thanks to all those years of SF2.
^^^ sweeps don’t do chip damage. someone mentioned earlier that he was baiting a FA attempt or an “obvious reaction” punish that he could demon on anticipated reaction (such as a sweep). Only really bad shoto players use sweeps all the time which is why his use surprised me. Looking back he only really “overused” it once he had a demon available, so I understand his thinking.
double post only because thsi post is completely seperate and posted a while later… soo…sorry…lol.
anyway, some relatively new videos. I’ll jsut post a bunch of links up. Its all from LA’s playlist of some tokyo tournies but I’ll just link to some gouki matches.

Nanashi v Oji (BL)

Fujino v Some ken (lol)

(there are others but you guys will just have to take the time to look a little in lord’s playlists for them…i’m too lazy.lol)
Anyway, I’m really liking nanashi’s gouki. And he’s got some of the best looping against Sagat I’ve seen at tournament lvl in the heat of a match.
there was a mago vs kanbara match i was gonna post… but kanbara pretty much commited hiri-kiri so I decided against it…lol.
If you haven’t seen these… ENJOY.
I think he was fishing for a focus attack, not an ultra, unless that’s what you meant.
He sweeps —> other player focuses it —> he ulta’s
I believe that is what he meant anyway.
Don’t know if this has been posted

Second match is Momochi vs Mago
That user has lots of new videos on their profile
Momochi is the man.
