What up, peoples? This is JC Exclusive of the Southtown Syndicate Crew letting you guys know that I just made this Akuma/Gouki combo video. Some combos look familiar and others you can change up. Pretty much, you can mix and match if you see that it’s possible, so it basically lets you know the potential of what Akuma can do. I hope you guys enjoy, preferably in HQ. Peace.

lol… 30 hit combo without having used the Ultra… lol… of course … I don’t know when the last time I corner a geif… but…lol. Nice video :slight_smile: Some humerously bad uses of EX but that happens in combo videos :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yup. This will never happen in regular gameplay. lol. If he does get cornered, either Zangief will grab Akuma out of his focus or he’ll mash on the 360 grab just waiting for Akuma to slip and screw up his combo. Haha.

Great combo video, theres a lot to learn from it. The smoke from Vipers ultra on the Raging Demon was awesome, lol.

Ed Ma’s demon flip mix ups were pretty cool. I would like to try work some of those into my block strings instead of boring old cr.MK xx Fireball.

You definitely need some serious work on your game. Not trying to be a dick but I just watched your sagat fight and holy crap you missed so many opportunities to simply destroy that sagat. He whiffed so many moves where you could’ve combo’d him up like crazy. You could have also easily avoided those tigers but you kept jumping into them.

Nice, I feel like you would have even had an extra ex bar by the end of that gief combo.

Yeah part of the problem is this modded hori I use. The ball on the stick loosens and I have to tighten it while in round. It’s kinda starting to fall apart.

What are the original buttons that are in a hori stick anyway? I hope they’re not sanwa b/c if they were then I’m not impressed. I’m always having problems with dropped combos and used the same stick for Tekken 5.

They are Hori imitations of sanwa’s.

Yeah… why are you punishing whiffed Tiger Uppercuts with a throw? You know you could do like 3x as much damage using an ordinary BnB cHP -> LK Tatsu -> FP DP combo?

Lately I’ve just been punishing whiffed moves with a gold spin kick to create distance then play a keep away game. The BnB with my stick isn’t reliable so I’ve had to adapt, it sucks I know but usually I get the win regardless.

I played on a modded Hori with real sanwa parts before and it worked great. The only problem is that Akuma wasn’t unlocked so I didn’t get to test it with him.

I ordered something to use as a case and have parts from a 15th anniversary SF Stick that I’m going to use.

So, when is this Arcade Stick Parts drought going to be over with lizard lick anyway? Can anyone recommend another retailer to go to for the same quality buttons in the meantime?

Yeah, I thought about that, but there are only three times I use special moves, which is 2 fireballs and the hurricane kick at the end. Since the rest of the hits were normals, I don’t build anything for the EX bar. Sucks, huh? lol.

huh?? what are you talking about? Either I’m horribly misreading your comment or my response is:

“you gain meter on normal moves that connect with an opponent…even on block…but to a lesser extent. The only time it HAS to be a special move to gain meter is if the move is whiffing. Only whiffed SPECIALS gain meter. Otherwise normals AND specials gain you meter on block and on hit”

That has nothing to do with anything in ur stick. You should be able to do st.HP xx LK Tatsu -> HP SRK using a broom handle and 6 bottle tops.

CRAP! I don’t know what was up with me on that day I was doing the combo. I set up the meter at normal and for some reason I didn’t see the meter going up. Actually, it might’ve been that I just attacked with a few normals and I didn’t notice much of a bar increase, so I assumed it didn’t do anything. But dude, you’re right. I just checked it right now and I don’t know why something as logical as that slipped my mind. And think I was thinking about the whiffed normals, too.

Anywho, I checked it and I will be able to gain two extra EX stocks, which means that I could go for one more rep before finishing it off the way I did. Ughh, it took me forever to do that combo since my stick has been acting up, but I guess we could leave it at that. So it is possible for that combo to end with 39 hits! Thanks kanosig and GATOR for pointing that out.

Your combo could go on forever. Just put f.HK->s.LP->f.HK->s.LP in there.

Really? I thought that would push him back too far. I guess I got something else to try out later.
