rofl.
if next episode’s gonna be on the wii…then that might be the episode that justin’s most vulnerable
Why is it so hard to believe Justin didn’t get first in Tekken. It doesn’t take a fighting game pro to beat survival mode and the dude who won probably completed it faster than Justin.
There’s a limit to how many to beat? What were the criteria for ranking in the challenge?
EDIT: Justin’s twitter said best in 5 minutes max.
For all the people going crazy over your anime osaka waifu Faye, she hates you. As stated in this interview.

She thinks shes hot shit, but then again shes a brawl player from Wisconsin. I’m going to go out on a limb and say she plays Yoshi because hes cute, and she sucks ass.
lmao
i just watched season 1. shit came down to a mash fest in sc4. shits hilarious.
I’m honestly surprised that they didn’t let you on the show, Pat. You’d be trolling the entire country for months on end.
If/when Justin and Faye get kicked off, I’m done with the show.
Btw… the guy that lost was on because he was a soccer gaming champ?
That’s it next season I’m applying as a Yoshi’s Cookie regional champ with several 1-3rd placings in Barbie Horse Adventure
I’m going to apply as a Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 regional champ then.
yeah when i listen to the tournies they go to. the one guy was like yeah everytime gamestop has a tourny i go and win it. LIke wtf…blockbuster used to have snes tournies when i was a kid…i wouldn’t be bragging about winning one.
Anyone else in here think the show is staged? I mean come on, the signs are soooo obvisous.
I mean, between the drama between Kat and that other girl, how they made it seem like Justin Won the Tekken competition but he obviously didnt, More of the inhouse Drama…between Kat and that other guy, crying because she wants to be on the show. Even up until the last game between Kat and the guy she eliminated how it went the full 9 rounds…hmmm…I mean its good tv, but it just seems odd to me
btw…go justin…
Call me insane, but it’s called sandbagging, idiot. I knew right away when he lost that it was on purpose (bc of the #1 rule of fighting games, always bet on justin). There’s obvious advantages to him not winning first. Since you’re that stupid i’ll list a couple.
-tough decisions on who to put in elimination = make unnecessary grudges (See Kat next week being pissed at Yaz),
-being at the top of the rankings = bullseye target #1, etc
This is all strategy for that $100k- aka that smart stuff.
Let’s go justin.
You’re right. Justin played the game correctly Im not talking about Tekken.
But he did really good in Tekken, the other guys just mashed against the AI harder. If he was sandbagging he would have deliberately lost. You don’t not die and call it sandbagging. For all he knew he had a perfect score and won.
The show was ok. I think the show has to appeal to all kind of gamers. the good thing is that Tekken came our and hopefully more kids (10-15) will be interested in it. They cold be the new gen. Tekken or SF players its all about baby steps right?
Ok, this is kind of random, but I was at Day[9]'s launch event for SC2, and there was this girl there who came over and decided to play SF4 with us. Of course I was wrecking people with my huge streak, but all these guys gave me tons of pressure NOT to beat her because they didn’t want her to leave. Being the gentleman that I am, I beat her using Hakan just to make my point! (But I gave up my spot anyway : P)
Anyway, this was her:

I think it was probably her, also given that she lives in Cerritos, CA. Thats pretty awesome, she actually knew her shit at SF4, and was better than most of the guys there
EdiT: Checked her tweet history, it was her, she’s also the model for the TE-S stick on the front of SRK right now. So not too bad, she has a good handle on the game for sure.
Nah at his skill level he can control his effort aka play anywhere from 1-100% capacity - anything less than 100% on purpose is what i call sandbagging.
Maybe he just wanted to survive, have a good score to make it look like tried and timed out on the 5 min limit given. Don’t you think him dying would give it away? It’d be too suspicious.
Respect some of the players on the show for their specialized game accomplishments, but it takes more than three or so days to learn to not stink at Tekken (unlike SF, DOA, etc ).
There was a time limit to the Tekken survival. All Justin had to do was play it slower, still not die, but beat less cpu overall. I am almost certain Paul was banned behind the scenes. Paul d+1,2°, b,b+1+2 has dominated the cpu for years. The cpu stops falling for most other character repeats at around 50 wins, but not Paul’s, lol.
The sad part is that none of them will get to face off against other people in their preferred game of choice.
