I love it how my idea has been stolen by ponder.

Well n e ways my team will consist of Me, Josh Wigfall, Sanford Kelly, Desmond Pinkney, and right now we don’t really have another person right now.
But i hope either Mixup can join my team or ricky ortiz but if they don’t i would need someone else.

EC Team:

  • JustinW, Xecutioner, Sanford, mixup, Wigfall.
  • Alternate(s):
    > Ricky (should be on team, but might not even go to EVO)
    > Rick Mears
    > Josh Wong
    > Demon Hyo
    > Spyro
    > Cano2k
    > White Knight

WC Team:

  • RowTron, Kuan, Genghis, Soo, (5th should be picked by rest of team IMO)
  • Alternates/Possible 5th’s:
    > DavidL
    > Clockw0rk
    > Junior B
    > Combo Fiend
    > Shady K
    > Rattana
    > SiN
    > Potter
    > Randy Lew
    > Julius Jackson

Now, on to my theories…

Why no CvS2?

1.) Game takes too damn long.
2.) It’s boring to watch [most of the time] and no one’s gonna really care after the 2nd player starts playin’.

Possible solution: Make it a 3-on-3, but not EC vs. WC, make it US vs. Japan :evil:.

Why no MW?

1.) "No one likes us :frowning: :mad: :bluu: :lame:."
2.) Not enough “big name” players to make a team of 5.
*Personal note: I’m from the MW, and I can only come up w/ 4.

If possible…variety from different regions on each side is good. Better exposure for different players IMO.

If you want the test the best against the best…tough choice isn’t it. =P

hmm,

jaime and mag could be replacement, and julius jackson could also be a replacement. People also forgot viscant as possible 5th spot. Sin could take the 5th spot. Its just better to have a tourney to have the 5th spot, or if your doing it on sunday, have the top 5 placer at evolution from the specify coast respectively represent the team.

just a side note. in the e3 tournament i was high and didnt use storm/sent k thx. and camelot tourney… was 1 round losers finals/ winners. but i think gheghis, Juniorb, should have spots FOR SURE. they are the only players that still play this game consistenly.

i was about to say it’d be more interesting if you take out justin, kuan, and rowtron and let the people who shit talk a lot play, since they’re too good and humble and its more of a cali vs ny thing, but since kuan likes the idea nm then.

anyway what i really like potters idea, best mag soo, best storm/sent david l, best scrub genghis, best lockdown clock, and best turtle sin.

There should be all DIFFERENT Teams. We don’t want WC filled with team scrub, besides i think its safe to say everyones scrub is inferior to kuans.

sent/storm or sent/cable sanford/x, genghis/kuan

mag/cable/sent-a wigfall, rowtron

“The 5th spot will be awarded to the highest placing finisher in the July 26th Prevolution tournament at SVGL not already on the team.” He already said the player that is not on the team.

Anyway I think that this should be as equal as possible, meaning that WC shouldn’t have it’s team assigned to them. I think having Justin and Row as captains should just be the final plan. I am sure that Row will pick Kuan and Kuan can be his co-captain. All I am saying is that Row should have a say in who is in his team, I am sure Row is a good enough player to know who is good and who isn’t. He has travelled around so he knows lots of great MvC2 players, he has the best eye for his teammates and I think he should get to choose just like Justin is.

And to be honest w/ everyone…if Seattle put up 5 cats…they could win against both EC and WC…not saying its free or anything…just saying they would put up a fight.

Kuan, Row, Rat, Scott Wong, and whoever the fuck else…Seattle is pretty fucking good…
