I don’t agree with infiltration and I don’t take top players words for gospel. I do think their opinions should be considered though, but season 2 looks more like street fighter than season 1 did for me.
Mika in season 1 had good neutral bypass into piss easy corner carry, I wanted to see at least one of those go and it happened.
One the mixup characters are good but pretty much all of them have to play neutral to get their tight shit off. That’s what street fighter has always been to me. A ball of cheap shit waiting to happen, but you gotta play neutral first. ST claw didn’t just get to jump off the wall for free while you were down, he had to knock you down first. Boxer had to wade his way in through fireballs before he got that crazy tick throw game started up, etc etc.
I like season 2. Lets do some neutral then flip some coins like street fighter should be.
