Was 3rd Strike a mistake? Did Capcom go too far ahead of themselves?

inverse, you talk about how sf3 was back to slower paced gameplay and less emphasis on combos. Yet, sf3, ESPECIALLY NG, is also guilty of having insane combos, silly infinites, etc etc etc. I mean, i can do like 4 shinshos with ryu in that game, in a real match, and i dont claim to be good at it. just imagine what the good players were doing. If anything, A2 is what you think sf3 was. sans custom combos. That game was very methodical, and way more remiscent to sf2 era, than sf3 ever was.
