Wartech: Senko no Ronde. Released in America. Only $10!

that bad eh?

No that isn’t what I’m saying.

I’m just saying if you didn’t really like Psychic Force 2012 (awesome game, I think it was Gamest game of the year 1998). You may not like Senko No Ronde.

Senko No Ronde plays like a lesser version of Psychic Force 2012.
I like them both though.

Zone Of The Enders?

They have some match videos of this game on game 41 sometimes, I was always wondering what the name was…haha now i know.

Hey, ZOE is actually very good in its own, very limited, genre. But I kinda don’t see any connection with SnR as far as gameplay goes:confused:

you really think so? i think its more like a top down virtual on, with bullet curtains / turn-into-a-boss-supers

You are correct on that one. The rules are closer to that game than Psychic Force’s:

Ok, I was going to say that it really didn’t look like Psychic Force… MAYBE a little on the outside, but definitely not… Psychic Force got boring after about 20 minutes. I’ve watched about 20 minutes of the videos for this game, and they’re still pretty cool.

Yeah they are many similarities except this one.

Virtual On controls are amazing.
Senko No Ronde’s arent, I’ve tested it on a Naomi machine aswell as on the XBOX360.

Not to say they arent managable, but they are in no way as fluid as the games mentioned.

When I saw the game I immediately thought “oh look! It’s another cute version of Virutal On!”

Anybody member that game??

Well, at least Im not the only one who’s lookin around for matches and all. Anyway, this game plays mostly like the doujin game “Acceleration of Suguri” than anything else mentioned so far. Playing that gave me a better idea on how to take of myself in Senko no Ronde.

Anyway, you’ll probably be better off doing dodging practice in games from the Touhou series and playing AoS to get a better idea on how to get used to SnR…at least, that’s how I see it.

Anyway, if you see “Soma Atlasia X”, say hi or something and don’t be a stranger.

Here are some tips that could help ya:

1.) Be conservative with your shields Its not like you can block all day so try dodging unless the screen is filled with bullets then rely on your shields.

2.) Save your B.O.S.S. Shells…this is a good when your trying to trap a person who is in Vanishing Mode. If the person has no more B.O.S.S. Shells to use, you can totally rape the person your own. 1st is used to drain him or her and the 2nd should be used to trap a person before they go into their FINAL B.O.S.S. Shell (activated while in Vanishing Mode).

3.) Learn how your bullets run during the course of the fight. Dashing Barrages are only good for some characters but not all. Try to find a character whom you can get comfortable with and learn him/her first before moving to another character.

Right now, my top character is “Beak Changpo” so expect me to use her when you see me.

I just want to go over demon dash’s point. You guy’s are complaining about a $60 price tag? I would fucking kill to pick the game up at that price. In the UK the equivalent RRP is around $98…

I’ll probably be able to pick it up for around $80 and I’ll be happy about it. Been waiting for this game for too long.

I cant wait to play you, when you get it.

Oh yeah, its kinda boring only finding people from Japan and Korea playing. I wont play them cause from what I see, Im going to get horrible lag from them and I don’t want to screw up with that in mind.

Oh and the $60 price tag, why are you guys complaining about it? Its a decent game and all and sure as hell better than some of the crap we’ve seen coming to the 360 so far. Then again, I guess $60 would be considered chump change to me most of the time. Oh well…

Dont buy it in the uk? I found a couple of sites in eu where the price is around 60

Looks pretty cool. . .

Don’t get me wrong I’m not paying $100 for the thing, I’m just pointing out that $60 (for me at least) is a good price for the game. And even though I’m really pleased it’s finally coming out in the UK, it’s annoying that it’s been delayed a few weeks. Hopefully I’ll be able to pick it up for around 35.

I seriously can’t wait to get some challenges in on this game

More than likely, people will be able to find me in game looking for ranked matches but hey, you might not know.

I’ll most likely be on all weekend though if anyone is interested.

It plays mostly like Virtual On. Suguri plays more like Psychic Force and came out after Senko.

And I always tell people this about the price of this game: Either pay 60 dollars for enhanced graphics and online play or pay close to or above 1000 dollars for a used copy with inferior graphics and no online play.

this game has a lot more depth than I originally thought. I’m still working my way through “Score Attack” mode, but it’s still really fun.

I hope more people pick this up too, so I can start playing more online.
