In the meantime, TAS started a thread over at the Capcom Boards with a poll where you can vote for whatever characters you want in SF4. Prolly your/our best bet at letting Capcom know who we want in the game. I picked Ryu, Ken(even though they are already in the game lol), Chun-Li, Sagat, Gouki and Ingrid since I was suprised to see her name up there ha ha! Anyway -
Sven mentioned SF4 fitting into canon below by saying *"ā¦where it fits in the canon." * Just thought Iād point that out.
We all know that Capcom Jpās developing the game, but does that include canon developments or not? Thatās what Iām worried about. Iād hate to see them introduce a boss who gets his powers from drugs and turns into an eight-legged RE reject.
I donāt really care about old characters, iād rather have an all new cast that fits the canon !
I guess weāll have to wait to know about that.
I wouldnāt worry too much about that since Capcom USA didnāt write the storylines for Eagle, Yun, Maki and Ingrid in SFA3 Max or Cammyās SFA2 Gold storyline all while they had the license. Your biggest worry should be Udonās new HD SF2 endings if anything, but so far what we have seen of Sagatās is same old.

I just wanna know if they will finish the illuminati arc or make a new one. Either way, if Funiizu is not working on the plot then it will suck.

Well Ryu / Ken could be masters(though technically, Ken is already a āmastersā haha).
Adon was Sagatās pupil, which means he was younger.
Alex, Yun and Makoto were much younger, and Urienā¦well Urien wasnāt quite human

As that news confusedly ran about within the fighting world, the said man Sagat, was finding himself moving into the mountains near the border of Myanmar.
Still for him now, he couldnāt bring up the feeling of his own conclusive defeat.
With overwhelming might, Sagat would take the damage while uneventfully win and advance to the next round with the bouts thus far.
And yet, when he received counterattacks, heād place himself for conquest at the rivaling technique as a weakness and a blind spot, being one of flawless strength.
With the eyesight from one eye virtually lost after the first title defensive battle, he acquired reforming his own move as was that of his opponentās sure killing technique knee kick.
And so now within his mind, memories of struggles numerous years ago were being restored.
Yesā¦best pupil Adonās, mock bouts tens of times around. Sagatās one knee, directed into the earth during battle, that time was the first for Adon.
By no means could there be cause for negligent conceit. His best pupilās growth, unaffectedly Sagat admired. However seeing Adonās reaction after that, was enraging for Sagat.
Adon, satisfied at having directed Sagatās knees into the earth, abruptly settled the fight, his fighting spirit brought to a close.
What an insult. Abandoning the battle, gleefully at that manner of conclusion!
Adonās pupil, drew near to Sagatās kick subtly at a moment already too late. His sure-killing knee kick tied together with consecutive moves, onto Adonās body a barrage would seemingly splash, breaking the bones of his whole body. Adon would recover some 4 months from sustained heavy injuries, that to be able to battle Sagat once more would require 1 year and a half.

Sagatās technique, when brought out at the basis of wrath, there it would become hell. His sure-killing knee kick, and also an upper repelling his harshed disgraced chest blowā¦for the time the continuation is released, all head-to-head opponents, will likely crumble away before his fist. Just like that, it must be called a [Genocide (atrocity)], nothing but the emperorās execution technique become possible.

They have real screenshots and even the Character selection screen up now. But judging from the screenshots, only Ryu and Ken were playable at the demo.
