Can you post some scans soon?
And does anyone have the sketch by Akiman of Necro in human form that Remy was based on? Thanks!

If anyone recalls such a thing, I’m all eyes as well. I honestly don’t remember ever seeing an offcial sketch of Illia. The closest thing I’ve seen linking Necro to Remy is a small pic of a figure with Remy’s attire and what looks to me like Necro’s head. It’s found in the 3S Secret File which The Arcade Flyer Archive website has scans of, courtesy of aerialgroove.
I just saw it mentioned in this thread somewhere, I just thought I’d ask. And which pafe in the secret file?
The one with the tiny white Remy pics at the upper right corner.
I’ve got that one too but not all of it is official. Any Japanese source? Thanks!
I just see Remy without hair and no big nose or otherwise Necroish face, just his usual despicable wimpish softy look.

Scissorman, I’ll scan those when I get home, in about a week.
None that I know of.
Oops, no long nose. My bad. Fixed above. I still think his head without hair is shaped like Necro’s though.:wonder: Eh, whateva.
The next one. Enjoy:
Ken from SFZ2
Shoryureppa
"Ch…got me didn’cha.“
It’s the fighting championship’s finals. For Ken Masters, in spite of being the tournament’s newly participating rookie, he won and advanced to the next round with bamboo breaking vigor, hogging the subjects within the assembly halls. Before his sure killing jumping upper “shoryuken”, he was sinking the victory nominated players one by one.
However, circumstances with the finals were different. Perhaps that blue gi giant was likely a karate Black Belt, such that he was predicting the timing of the ruling move shoryuken that he fortified a guard on it. And so catching a defenseless Ken during his fall, he struck him into the ring. Already he couldn’t apply the shoryuken…at a breath Ken, was driven into a dilemma.
A better opponent, as he was seemingly waiting for the shoryuken. Having captured his sure killing techniques, he could see to fight with composure.
”‘Don’t be taking me lightly…’, still not less of a case which has room for you eh?"
Sink or swim, Ken was realizing a planned clever scheme.
"Failure is an instant pinch, yet, it’ll probably be interesting."
Quickly at the interval’s end, Ken releases the shoryuken. His opponent with a broadly grinning sneer, guarded this.
Did he take victory or defeat?..everyone had concluded at that instant.
However, immediately following that blown outside of the ring, was the gi giant’s person.
The initial shoryuken slightly attacked, shifted before the predicted drop point, in the twinkling of an eye he lets out the next shoryuken…even Ken himself could not believe the consecutive move.
“Here’s some sense for you fella…better watch out!” Even barely for Ken victory was in his hands. There’s a great uproar at the assembly halls from the unexpected result.
Since then the name “shoryureppa” was given to the base form of the combination upper.
Next time, Chun Li. Thanks for reading minna-san.
Okay, thanks!
Not official and I’d have to double check but I think it shows up as his dislike in the SF2 Animated movie when Chun-Li talks about the lords of Shadowloo in the start of the movie and on the ID he shows to Cammy in SF2V. Maybe they just took the English bios for those works, pretty funny. Course I will have to double check to make sure, anyone feel free to beat me to it since I’m fairly busy…
If only Japan’s SF1 pamphlet would show up there someday…
I think that the woman scientist’s name might be revealed on this pic. But it’s really blurry, I wrote down what I think the letters might be, but I don’t know if they’re correct.
RE: Master Bigode
That SFIICE Flyer (http://www.arcadeflyers.com/?page=thumbs&db=videodb&id=5790 ) is a modification of Guile’s SFII art:

Would you be able to scan it zoomed out a few levels so it isn’t so blurry?:wonder:
Ah gotcha. Let me try something then.
Yeah, it can be too many different combos. My best guess I suppose would be Nurse Annetta, your suggestion above Scissorman would result in Nurse Nehon. Both and numerous others equally likely since the writing’s way too small for me to pinpoint anyway. Gomen, I tried.
Random Street Fighter shout out I saw last week lol - I’m a big fan of C.B. Cebulski’s X-Men Fairy Tales and Spider-Man Fairy Tales so when I was in the comic shop last week I saw his name on a #1 issue so I decided to check it out. The book was called Compass and it was written by Cebulski along with Akihide Yanagi. Ryusuke Hamamato provided the artwork. Nothing special so far but a fun comic. I was suprised when the Indian girl called the asian girl “Chun Li” mocking her character, hey I didn’t think I would find a Street Fighter reference of all things in the comic! I found a random image of the cover online, the indian girl is on the bottom and the girl she called Chun Li is on the top lollerooney!

Anyone know where I can find Zero 2/Alpha 2 official artwork? I’m looking for a specific picture of Guy featuring Cody. Basically, Guy is hanging upside down from a ceiling, while Cody is behind him. The pic is on Fighters gen, but you have to pay to get on the art gallery section. Also, does anyone know where I can find other offical artwork from Street Fighter Alpha 2/Zero 2.
The pic is similar to these, in terms of art style:

It’s from SFZero/Alpha 1 by Bengus/CMRK. I’ll see if I find it on the web, you can find it in almost every art/guidebook that was released after the game.
EDIT:
Found it:

I’ll delete it soon so get it while you can.
I wonder if that gallery has any exceptionally rare official SF pieces; it’d be my only motivation for a subscription. Anyone able to comment?:wonder:
