Zombie Cpt (Wayne) has disappeared without finishing business

It seems that a lot of people in the trading outlet forums have disappeared for weeks on end. Zombie Cpt is one of them.

Here’s the thread about him selling pre-wired x360/PS3 pcb’s with the imp board from Toodles. He had a list of 20 ish people and finished all but 2 before disappearing. I’m one of the unlucky 2.

He responded on 5/28/09 with post 129. This is the last time I’ve heard from him. I’ve sent him multiple PM’s and e-mails (to his paypal e-mail address). The rest of the posts in the thread that are relevant are mine and one by str[e]ak made on 7/7/09.

I still have not received a response of any kind from e-mails, pm’s, and posts in this thread. In two days it will have been 2 months since Zombie’s last update. I gave him time because he said he was sick, but then he disappears. EVO is around the corner, so I give him more time. But it’s almost 2 weeks after EVO and still no response.

I really would rather have the pcb and don’t want a refund, but at this rate, I won’t get the pre-wired pcb so I am asking for a refund and just going to get someone else to make me one.

He gave the run around about sending the item after payment was made. I assume it was in order to make a quik buck to take to evo. I never recieved the item.

Man ppl try to scam here and ebay. Ebay is getting worse everyday. The same as my cause every month i always have to open dispute thru paypal b/c sellers dont deliver the items. For u my friend ur best and fast solution is to open a dispute with paypal and make it quick. The seller may have no funds inside his account and u might get nothing. That also happen to me, i was lucky it was only 27 dollars i lost.

there has been some shifty activites in threads lately…As a seller this is not a good look on business…im not sure whats happening but the infractions may need to be given

Add me to the Lazeeya complaint list. Not saying the man was a scammer, as he did produce some very nice quality sticks that people received and verified as well made.

I do think, however, that somewhere around early April during the parts shortage, something happened to him personally or whatever, and we, as customers, have received very little contact from him. A multitude of people, including myself, have been waiting to receive their sticks from him for over 5 months now. So, it’s beyond the point of dispute for the majority of us money wise.

I’m usually the king of patience, but at this point I’m chocking the $220 I spent as a total loss. Actually receiving the stick will be an unexpected bonus.

This guy is now facing legal trouble. Lazeeya still hasn’t sent me my stick back and still refuses to make contact with any of us. I don’t care what his personal problems are. Once you take my money and disappear, that makes you a thief in my book. I believe he either won’t send me my stick just to spite me since I’m probably his angriest customer at the moment or he spent people’s money on alcohol. He mentioned at one point that he was having trouble keeping sober. That’s the only explanation I can think of as to why he hasn’t given anyone their refunds yet. I’m leaning toward the latter on this one. But for humor’s sake, check out this mess of a business he’s running.

What can you do while paypalling that prevents you from filing a claim?

I was hoping this WORLD’S WORST FUCKING TRANSACTION EVER would resolve itself, but it hasn’t and now there is no communication and I am out money and TIME that I shouldn’t have even had to do in the first place, but let me explain:

Ordered a 360 controller from Nareg at http://www.gamingnow.net/

Paid WAY too much for fucking shipping on it too, but I was desperate for a 360PCB to put in my custom stick to bring to evo. Paid WAY too much on shipping and the fucking thing takes over a week to get to me ANYWAY (strike one).

Open my package…and instead of my PCB, I have an Imp+cthulu+soldering station+octogonal gate and other miscellaneous shit. I, being fucking STUPID, did the RIGHT THING and emailed Nareg back that I got the wrong order (for people that don’t know, this order is worth like 3x more than mine, and legally I could’ve kept ALL of that shit!).

Nareg’s response is that I should ship it all back to the customer who ordered it, and he will ship my order to me. (STRIKE TWO imo). COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I could’ve gone to fucking GAMESTOP and bought a fucking pad for cheaper, the only reason I went on his website and bought it is because I would get it DIRECTLY TO MY HOUSE without having to walk/bus to gamestop or the fucking post office. I do not have a car, going to the post office by bus FUCKING SUCKS and is a HUGE waste of my fucking time.

I agreed to do this, but then evo was comming up and bills hit me, so I waited instead to send directly to nareg after I got a paycheck. Again, this is NOT my problem because NAREG sent the wrong package, and I had NO OBLIGATION to send back to him in the first place, and I did not SIGN ON TO BE HIS FUCKING ERRAND BOY. I just wanted my fucking PCB to be delivered to my house!!!

So, I sent Nareg his package, have NO PCB, AND NO REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE SHIPPING I SENT FOR HIS FUCKUP, AND NO COMMUNICATION. I am OUT the money for my PCB, the overpriced ass shipping, PLUS the 12 dollars to send the wrong package back to Nareg that I only did because I am an HONEST PERSON.

edit: The last email I got from Nareg is dated July 9th, I have sent him 4 emails since then with no replies.

Hi, this is one transaction out of thousands gone good where my packer made a mistake and swapped two people’s orders.

(Mistakes happen) we try to correct it through some simple cooperation with the two parties involved and do offer monetary incentives to cover the trouble.

I got the okay from Julian that he was good to forward the mistaken package to the correct recipient and expected to hear positive news from both people in a matter of days.

There’s no contact from him, although there is plenty from the other customer, and after 10 days, we assume Julian preferred to keep his mistake package which had a value of over three times his order (as he mentioned in his complaint.) That’s not cool, but it’s our mistake and I guess there is nothing we can do. So, rather than keep the other person waiting, we immediately got a replacement package out to him.

So one customer was more than taken care of and basically got a free controller out of this ordeal after a matter of 2 weeks from his original order.

For Julian, we offered a recovery plan. Since the value of the order he got was about 120 dollars- we offered him a reward of 75 dollars if he could simply get the item returned to us in seven days. Seems like a good payoff for someone who originally ordered just a controller. That one week deadline came and went, and about 2 weeks later we got a package in the mail.

This customer did not make any effort to work with us… a month with no contact and then a simple e-mail back telling us he ran out of money and couldn’t fulfill his promise was really aggravating.

Were still gonna take care of him because we aren’t thieves, but the speed at which we do so is not a priority anymore. He’s somewhere at the bottom of a list of things to do.

By the way, although Julian complains about being overcharged for shipping on his original order of a controller, the order which he returned to us of approximately the same weight, under the same shipping method, following the same shipping route- cost him 20% more, ironically.

You know what is also really aggrevating? Going to evo without being able to complete my custom stick so I could have HDR and ST casuals in my own hotel room.

I have my gmail account open right now. I can post screenshots, but that specific instance you are talking about, my email came a week after yours, not a month. There is not a single time since I emailed you saying I got the wrong order where we have not been in contact for a month. So far the longest time we have been out of communication is when you have stopped emaing me back since July 9th, 22 days ago after I sent you stuff back I was not obligated to and am out money and time with zero to show.

Interesting you have LIGHTNING FAST response when I post on SRK, but I gave you 22 days to make good on your fuckup and got nothing for it. I know I could’ve handled this slightly better, but it is not my fault: I only paid for one thing to be shipped directly to my house, no fuss no muss. I had NO obligation to budget my time and money to send you back an order at my own expense on the offchance your packers fuckup.

It is amazing to me to be treated this way, considering the VAST majority of people would just never even let you know they got the wrong order and try to do the right thing. Sorry evo and bills hit me so hard that I had to wait for a paycheck to fix your businesses’ fuckup and try to do the right thing, Nareg.

Julian I’ve forwarded you some e-mails that show where you are mistaken in judging us, I think that after you see them you will understand differently and hope you make a public point of it.

I waited for 22 days to avoid HAVING to make a “public point”, if you had even contacted me to say the package was received, and that you were going to get around to giving me my money back then I wouldn’t have had to resort to this.

As-is, I got the wrong package, did the right thing and sent it back to you as soon as I could afford to, and now am out of pocket for all of it… where am I the bad guy in this, again? :confused:

Great idea!! Just because now people can tell who not to buy from and people that are reliable. Don’t need to deal with paypal resolution center that way.

I paid for the parts at the end of April, he ships partial shipment in June.
Contacted him several times and he is saying he will ship the items and refund the items that’s not in stock.
Now when I try to contact him, he does not even respond to e-mail, phone msg, PMs.
There are several other people still have not receive the parts from that group buy.

WOW, is this a joke? you were 100% at fault here. giving him a 7 day deadline? ridiculous. You should be damn happy he even sent it back. funny how you blame your packer. packer’s fault = your fault.
