I paid x-5ive@hotmail.com via paypal on Aug 25, 2010. To this date, I havent received the items.
I’ve contacted him several times only to have him post this about me:
Claimed he never received item; asking for refund in attempt to fool me. Beware.
I’ve opened up a case with him on Paypal and contacted the Trading Outlet mods.
This is my first time dealing with an online scammer/thief. What else can/should I do? Any suggestions and tips are appreciated!
Oh I see now so he got into somebody else’s account and continued to scam people off another name. Or, maybe it really is two people working together on this. I’ll see if can get a hold of this person, 3 different people seemingly got scammed by the same dude. I doubt he cares if his account gets suspend/frozen, so I’ll try to get him to start sending refunds. To the people that got scammed, file in claims or talk with your bank and see if you can get your money back!
Ohnoezz scammed me. I ordered buttons and jfl .stopped replying I’m pretty sure hi five are don this . I’m pretty sure tootles was right about the three . Scamming with golf balls. Plus why would they know each others paypal account info .
Minotaur64 I recommend you contact your credit card company. Hopefully you have online billing and can see your past statements. Call customer service and tell them and they should give you a refund right away. Ask them you want to dispute a transaction. If you have Chase bank, it’s even easier.

There’s been a lot of scamming recently and sorry if this caused some misfortune. We just don’t want other people to continue negotiations with potential scammers with little intention of refunding ripped off buyers.
Awaiting reply. Seems he’s got a lot of explaining to do.
Would it help to turn on the join dates for just the trading outlet? Mistakes happen on occasion and having the date shown and maybe even colored to differentiate who can sell or not may help.
We tried asking MrWizard already but still nothing. It would help tremendously, maybe he can’t do it because of vbulletin coding or something. Who knows :wonder:
