Wall of Shame: Post Info on Scammers, Thieves, and Unsettled Transactions

I do had some problems with him, Kairu1. said he would pay my Dreamcast console and never did. Give me bullshit story saying he got layoff and cant afford anymore. waste of my time and paul too

Answers in quote.

Although still he showed me pics of the item and didn’t really seem like a scammer.

I just think the USPS is to blame but I’m not sure.

Get a tracking number and call it in, doesn’t matter if it was just sent or not as long as it was sent he has a tracking number, if USPS is to blame they’ll see where the package is/tell you if they lost it. If theres no record of it… well then that sucks.

Ok, turns out I’m an assuming asshole and this guy really did send it. (he showed me a confirmation)

The USPS probably screwed up.

Thanks I will.

Ha. Those questions I gave you were not meant to be answered on the forum, but some answers that you need as information when attempting to retrieve your funds back with your bank or paypal. I’m unable to assist you further than that.

Ok, he actually has a shipping receipt.

It’s the freakin USPS any advice?

Contact the USPS with the tracking number or have him do it. That’s about the only logical thing to do at this point. If you paid for insurance you should be able to get your money back if they can’t find the item.

Anyone deal with jasonneeeee? I sold him MW2 a month ago and now I get a chargeback claim from papal. Hopefully it won’t be a problem and me having tracking info resolves this but this has never happened before and I’m not exactly sure what’s going on.

Dude from Cali?
Anyways, you can contest the dispute with paypal if you have the confirmation tracking number from USPS as sufficient evidence to prove that the buyer had acknowledged and received the package.

Yup he’s from Cali.

I ended up sending all the emails, PM, photos of package, and tracking number to paypal hoping things can be resolved quickly.

I had a terrible transaction with lovepig78, and I suggest everyone avoid dealing with him altogether. After a few PMs back and forth we agreed to trade games simultaneously (my Dragon Age: Origins for his Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time). One day after agreeing to the deal, I shipped his game exactly when I said I would and promptly provided a confirmation number. What followed was 5 straight days of me PMing him asking for my confirmation number in return and him intentionally blowing my PMs off. He visited SRK every day in those five days, viewed and posted in threads, yet refused to answer my PMs. Finally, after he was forced to contact me (by a mod) He gave me the lame excuse that he had done too much “partying” (don’t want to put his specific business out there) all weekend and that he had forgotten to ship the game. That has nothing to do with him blowing off my PMs for 5 days while he was clearly visiting and being active on this board.

It gets worse. I finally get my game way later than I should have (it wasn’t in mint condition either, as there were a few small but noticeable scratches on the disk), and of course there’s another problem. 48 minutes in to the game it is freezing while loading a certain level. The disk is defective. I even tried it on a friends PS3 and, yep, it does the same thing. Even though he claims to have played through and beaten the game (which I don’t believe), there is no way that lovepig78 didn’t know about this issue when he sent me the game…I highly doubt the game just made itself defective during shipping.

I PMed lovepig78 letting him know what the issue was and to see how we could solve it. I personally felt the best solution was for him to PayPal me what I was asking for my game ($38.00, but maybe willing to go a little lower), and then I ship him back his defective game and we end this. He simply wants to do a trade back of games, to which I don’t want to do. The guy has been shady and untrustworthy up until this point, so why would I expect to get my game back in the same condition that I sent it? I even asked him if it was still in “mint condition” and he said yes, because he never played it, yet when he received the game he clearly posted in my thread that Dragon Age: Origins was “tight”. That gives me even less reason to trust that I will get my game back exactly how I sent it.

As we stand right now, he still hasn’t responded to my PMs that I sent him asking him to PM me. I now have a defective game and some upset kids (was going to play the game with them), and no resolution to the transaction.

Lovepig78 is added.
Until that user comes in and offers an explanation, it won’t be removed without providing further evidence and information.

Nitewalker sent me $150 the other day, nearly three years after I sent him $200. At this point, I consider myself lucky to have received anything. I would still caution people sending him large amounts of money but whether or not he stays on the bad traders list is up to the mods. For my part, the matter is closed.

armad1ll0 - hasn’t been on here in forever and his website dissappeared but he took 35 dollars and two dual shocks from me (was going to wire them) but never sent them back and after cashing the check stopped responding.

very much this.

both parties seem to have been satisfied so I’ll remove him off the list, others can still use this post if they want as an extra sign of caution.

should he return here he will not be allowed to do any business until he gets this resolved.

Lovepig78 just responded to me. Lovepig78, do not message me through PM because I am not the victim here. You should have your score settled with Illustrator instead and confront him with the issue. Please don’t give me a story because I need the other party to confirm that the transaction went smoothly. You coming in here telling me your situation will not resolve the problem. Till then, your name is on the list.

everything was settled before i sent you the PM

Glad to know my memory isn’t shot:

And he hasn’t been back since.

oh wow, i’m not the only one? See when I ordered (2005) he had a really solid rep as far as I could find (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong).

Who elses money did he steal? do you remember?

So is the Lovepig thing settled? If not I’ll close his thread until it is.
