Wall of Shame: Post Info on Scammers, Thieves, and Unsettled Transactions

Would it be possible for a similar action to be taken with Nitewalker? Do I need to PM Wiz directly and request? I’d just like to prevent someone else falling for the same scam that got me and I see that he lurks on here but still ignores his $200 debt to me.

Just got home to florida, I had sent it to the wrong address before I went on my vacation and considering where I was for the majority of my vacation I was hardly on a computer at all as it was the ONLY full 2 weeks of vacation I get all year…

regardless, I have responded and given him the card information online as of 5 minutes ago as well as offered to send him the hard copy tomorrow before I go to class.

also just spoke to mrwizard and made him aware of it.

Well, you don’t necessarily have to pm him, but it is the quickest method in a sense. It’s pretty much up to him after you tell him the situation (as far as fixing up accounts to where they gotta come here and stuff).

Pay pal has given me my money back from the blue flamingo debacle and i have pmed him to keep the gift card since it has not been sent.

uhhh that’s inaccurate. I sent you the information of the card BEFORE paypal refunded the money… so NOW you have the card info AND the money back. Also don’t try to call BS because I forwarded the PM containing everything to wiz. Care to explain that one?

first off this isn’t your first time getting in trouble from not sending out items. i have people coming forward to me about you from previous transactions.

so i buy the card off you and you fall off the planet for over 2 weeks with no updates and when asked for tracking you didn’t provide any and even until today there is no tracking because you still have the card.

you say that it went to the wrong address and came back to you. that’s fine, where is the tracking information?

paypal, i won the dispute because you neve replied to paypal or gave any proof to paypal. if you typed in tracking information to paypal that would’ve at least bought you another week to 2 weeks showing that it was returned to you (trackers now get updated even when it’s returned to sender). so again there is no proof that you sent anything.

you very recently frantically send me the gift card information through pm. why would you do that? there is absolutely no reason for you to do that. i expected a physical card to come to me at least 2-3 weeks ago! There is absolutely no reason for you not to give me an update. i dont care if you were out of state, i dont care if a family member died, it really doesn’t matter and it doesn’t excuse you for not giving any updates for weeks. you do this same thing to other people they’ll be pissed off too.

uhhh facts straight I explained everything. I have never NOT sent anyone out an item, sorry dude. For things like a GIFT CARD, i send normal mail… no tracking number is sent on normal mail last time I checked. I electronically sent out the card info as soon as I got home and was made aware of the situation… it’s an electronic card so you could see the balance and use it immediately to prove that it wasn’t a scam/rip off. I even offered to send it to you hard copy as well before this dispute closed. You didn’t say anything.

Bottom line is, you now have a card information for 100$ credit AND your money back… and that seems ok to you? loooool. Wanna talk about scamming whats up?

you send it through normal mail no tracking right? cool that’s fine, since you “just” got back from vacation why don’t you scan the envelope with the official return stamp that USPS uses when it’s the wrong address. show everyone that you sent that to me. i’m sure since this is a huge debacle and a headache for you, you’d still have the original envelope right?

Obviously Al has more integrity as a trader than you do and I know for a FACT if he got his money back he will not be using the gift card info. If you want I am sure ANY store worth a shit would give cash back and you could buy a new gift card if you’re that worried.

I am not acting like a victim, i whole heartedly apologized for my mistake. I do genuinely feel bad about that part. But KNOWING this guy has both the money and the card info? honestly I could not care less what you think.

If both parties (buyer and seller) have an undisputed transaction, maybe it’s best to stop doing business with each other. I ran into this same situation before and I’m not mentioning any names. Once that trust is broken between the relationship of the buyer and seller, the victim has the right to either report them to Mr. Wiz, settle it with their financial institution (paypal, bank), or just never do business with them again. Not leaving feedback after a purchase is made can breach a contract between both parties. I learned my mistake after dealing with an online retailer here on SRK and I’m not condoning business with him again after being screwed over.

I’m having some trouble with someone, but I don’t think it’s his fault.

See, long story short: I put a WTB for an item he PMs I we exchange info I pay (this was right before Christmas) and it didn’t come in the 3 days it was supposed to SOO I gave it more time.

After all this and a week and a half after the holidays ended he blamed weather then a week later I PM him and nothing another PM “don’t worry” he says and well a week later, here we are.

But I get this feeling it isn’t his fault.

Anyone I could get to maybe put some pressure on him?

What were you trading?
How much was the value of the item?
Was there tracking confirmation?
How was the payment sent?
Couple of questions to consider, this will allow you to settle any disputes against the the seller with your financial institution to help get your funds back after a long period of time. Make sure it hasn’t been past 45 days because you won’t be able to contest the issue.

Ebay Scammer

I bought a Ps3 off this guy on ebay. And it seems like I was had and he was a scammer all along. I bought the ps3 on the 20th of December of last year and still haven’t received the item. Others who bought from him also didn’t receive anything either. Here’s his feedback
