Can anyone tell me what this numeric data means?
“Walk Distance (per frame) Akuma 0.055”
does this mean per 1/60 frame Akuma moves 0.055 pixels?
make me wonder what the unit is…
thx

Not sure if it’s exact pixels, probably not given the scalable resolution of PC version, but if you go into training mode it breaks down like this:
So 0.055 would be just over half of the smallest training room square per frame.
The distance between two characters after any throw break or the start of the match is 3.0, note this is the distance from the center of one character to the center of the other so you don’t need to actually walk that far to touch the other person but it helps give you an idea of scale.
I wanted to post that image but didn’t have it, so i just waited for you to.
It’s the picture I made for this thread: Every character’s dash distance, jump distance, super jump distance, and wall jump distance + more
If you ever need it again
u guys are awesome!!!
Throw break pushback have a kind of randomness. I can get from 15 unit squares to 12 with Akuma vs Honda.
Ryu vs Ken seems universal.
But form several characters tests, it’s not at all the round start distance. (Chun vs Makoto for example).
It’s just a couple of chars that are off as far as I can tell, and it’s not always off actually. In Honda’s case it’s only if Honda breaks the throw, his little back hop doesn’t go the proper distance. If Akuma breaks Honda’s throw then Akuma is at 3.0 distance. Test that vs a few other chars same result, Honda breaks throw ends up ~2.58, opponent breaks Honda’s throw it’s 3.0
Still, didn’t know that was the case before because I only tested around 15 or so characters and it was a consistent result so I assumed it’d stay consistent given it’s also a system wide mechanic. Go figure, Capcpom can’t be trusted.
