Got a little more done today. I Dremeled off the spots where the spot welds are on the frame. This allows the wood to fit better against the frame.
I also had a buddy sit on the cab so people can see the height of the cabs during play.
Brian is 6’3 and he said it felt fine, I’m only 5’9 and I think it works well too.
First time using a router. WHAT AN AWESOME TOOL!!!
Not perfect, but I really like this thing!
I went a little too deep, so I will put some thin washers under the screw points to ensure everything is flush.
No travel for work this week, so some more updates should be incoming!

I’d be interested in doing something similar, except I have no tools for cutting wood. Is the desk sturdy enough to cut a spot for TE top panel and use it like that alone?
